This is the first 'Vertical' style case that I've liked. This one's going on my wish list for future projects. Fits full sized coolers, both air and water, fits fill sized GPU's, and doesn't take up a ton of desk space. Nice!
Having filtels everywhere is kinda good if you want to use a negative pressure fan configuration. This is a very interesting case. Silverstone always comes up with cool stuff like this. 🙂
@@STSYT Originally planned on a custom loop in the G1M; with a slim 360 + 240 on the back panel, but scrapped the idea since the airflow was so good anyway. I still think this case has amazing hidden potential for full custom loops though.
13:32 “sure the fans “sucked” “…. Well actually they “blow” 😛😁🤦♀🤦♂🤦 Sorry had to get that in hehe 😉. As a SFF ITX builder, this is one of a select few M-ATX cases I actually love and I’m seriously considering for my next build. It’s been out for a while, but this case is deserving of some serious coverage imo!
one of the best build case to support 4090 but top part should have at least 1 exhaust fan. front panel and the stand should be made of either steel or aluminum. everything else is great
I know its a bit late, but you did not mention compatibility of the bottom fan. Is it only for 180mm or 140mm replacement will fit too? It's important cause the AIO radiator could fit there. This way, we could put together some nice Double-AIO or custom WC system in there.
best way to set up this case is a 360mm aio as exusting air that will use the air from the 180mm fan and also pull air from the 2 side fans as well as pull air into the gpu from the other side and pull hot air away from the gpu try this i bet any money its the best way to set it up
Hi, I have a Noctua U12A, is it posible to use the extra bracket to instal some HDDs? or do I have other more suitable options? thanxs in advance. I've bought and the fan noise comes from the motor, quite fecking annoying
wow this thing is satisfying. i get some Thermaltake "the tower 900"vibes. not because of the case but because of the mounting postions i guess. nice video as always :) matx in midtowers is the way to go , just to freak out some people who look at it ;) :D
It's a cool case but I think the price is a bit steep, it's 160-175 on Amazon, you have to really love this case to spend that when there are alot of others in the 100-120 range that are probably better but are more traditional.
This case seems like a good fit for a 4090 FE’s flow through cooler design paired with a 360 AIO set to intake and 2x 120mm fans set as exhaust on the remaining right-hand slots. Will that fit?
One catch is that many modern GPUs, including my EVGA 3080 FTW, don't cool well in this orientation. I have a Silverstone FT02 (since 2010) and there is 12c delta between this orientation and laying the case on it's face for conventional orientation. Rifle style coolers like Nvidia OEM are suggested for this type of setup.
@@duxkaidor9812 well for one, you just said no fresh air flows to the GPU on the best air-cooled case that has ever hit the market (according to Gamers Nexus). You are wrong btw, as a 180mm Air Penetrator blows across the cards surface. And two, it has nothing to do with the amount of fresh air and everything to do with how the card is oriented due to wicking and heat-pipe design.
Have you found any modern cards that DO work well in this orientation? People are only reporting what doesn't and I would still like to make this design work.

Interesting position for the GPU, completely eliminates the SAG problem =)
Finally a successor of the Silverstone FT03!

Meshroom S is on my list but this should be close second
This case is incredible - Also have a Noctua in mine, cooling a 5800x, it's better performing than the water loop I used to run.
Nice! It's not often that a case is a better Air Performer than Water, in here everything just makes sense.

That must have been one awful "water loop". I'm guessing you had some kind of terrible AIO?
Hey! What fan configuration did you use? Any fans at the back (next to CPU cooler)? As intakes or exhaust? Thanks if you see this!
@@05cu Noctua on the back panel for exhaust. Air column idea pushing up through the CPU tower and out the top / back works wonders.
I had a vertical case... I was always scared of dropping something into it. The filters make sense to me.

Reminds me of The Tower 100. I really like this vertical-oriented layout.

They should of had a shorter bracket for fans to go on the gpu side as well. That way some extra intake fans could be mounted.
Dust filter on top works against dust falling from above. Some computers are off sometimes...

6:59 is it possible to fit a 240mm AIO as exhaust out the back where you showed those grey noctua fans?
ı got standar atx mb. any compact mini tover for that mb type ? standart atx case are very large and takes lots of space...

Actualy you can put a atx psu with the braket because atx psus also have 120 mm fan

Will that fit?
Well, if you can fit a Noctua NH-P1 in you'll have a giant CPU cooler with a 180mm fan!
If it fits a nh d15 then a deep cool ak620 should be perfect fit
ty so much and im about to spend 150 bucks on this case.
you're welcome! Hope you like it
Do you know if a TG panel is going to be available for this case?
Not that I'm aware of now, I'm going to forward the question to SilverStone and add it below once I know more
@@STSYT Thanks brother
Have you looked at the Mechanic Master C28 yet. There are also smaller Versions and it looks amazing
Not yet, but we will see to get our hands on one!
@@STSYT Nice👌
Where did you get the blue rubbers for the fans on Cooler in the Video?
they are included in the chromax.black fans packaging
@@STSYT thanks a lot 🥰! I've found the alternative package by now.
has anyone tried with nh-d15 or s? would the cooler fit in?
Kind of a Thermaltake Tower 100, without the glass panels.
And much better cooling support

In ft02 no fresh air flows to the GPU, you can't compare those two
