came here after watching the Death Diviner video. That song really caught me by surprise. Never been the biggest soilwork fan, but there's plenty of kick ass songs, but Death Diviner truly shot to my all time favorite because of the drums in that song. I just caught me instantly! Amazing work!
late for the kill early for the slaughter that my friend will also blow your mind but let's be honest .. the ride majestic is something .. maybe their greatest song. soilwork is amazing but bjorn strid on is own is something what a talent

I felt the same way.....but he is absolutely KILLING IT!!!
This dingy kid is awesome.
Three things:
- great drumming! It's amazing how effortless it looks;
- that green kit is really beautiful. I usually don't care about this kind of thing, but this one stands out;
- the tone of the snare is fabulous!
WOW, never seen anybody be able to make Dirks drumlines look like a warm up. Very impressive.
I would like to see some tracks off of the living infinite…
Soilwork is easily one of my top 5 favourite bands, since Natural Born Chaos. I've seen Dirk's entire tenure behind the kit and always thought of him as "Soilwork's drummer". That's how definitive I thought he was.
Needless to say, I was scared shitless when I heard that he was joining Megadeth. When I saw you were also drumming for The Arcane Order, I figured you knew your way around a drum set, but you're an absolute beast. I've watched all your Soilwork playthroughs and you're the perfect person to follow Dirk. Stellar work and I can't wait to hear the new album.

Cuando te vi en lima en al parte de afuera del lugar fumando un cigarro con markus pensé que eras parte del grupo pero staf, yo esperaba a Dirk y cuando te veo sentarte en la batería me pregunté que paso con Dirk no estuvo y espere a que empezarás a tocar pensando que tal lo hará y a la primera que empiezas me quedo 😲 del poder que tienes para tocar y de lo que estaba parado mirándote me volví loco que brutal este broo realmente es lo máximo toca la batería increíblemente, de haber sabido desde el principio que el que estaba afuera eras tu otra hubiese sido la historia porque te hubiese dado un abrazo de fan que nunca olvidarias y mi super reconocimiento a tu gran talento, que brutal eres bastian salud 🍻🍻🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘

Sick, dude!!! As always perfect... o.O Just one tiny thing. The original's syncopated bass drum hit in the bridge at 2:36 is such a signature beat. Did you chose to play it differently? If so why? Thanks for your work man!! Keep it coming

super nice and creamy
When listening to that song you expect an agressive-looking, long haired and tattoed drum-monster sitting behind a drum kit, totally killing it. What you get to see instead ist a relaxed blonde "good-boy"-guy sitting there with a face that says: "Aren´t we done yet?" *yawn*. Very nice!
Great drummer but he does need to bring some energy. He makes drumming.look boring. His skill is awesome but he has the *yawn* factor dialed to 11.

I don't know man, you're clearly skilled, this was a great cover, but I'm not quite "feeling it" to be honest. I'm not trying to be snobby or anything, I wanna share what I think and perhaps motivate you to do even better, after all, walking in Dirk's shoes is not an easy job. I'm looking forward to the new material though, I'm hoping for fresh things and not copycat material, even though it would be great if you throw in a few legacy chops in there too, blast from the past if you know what I mean! (pun intended)

Soilwork is one of my top 10 bands. Bastian is an amazing drummer. But one issue. He lacks the flair drummers bring. Every great band has a drummer who gets into it. This man just plugs away making it look easy with no emotion. Bro... Where is the fun? You look bored. How are fans to get into new songs if you act so robotic?
