    Haha… gotta say, you got me hooked on your 6.0 journey. Love these things. Also…
    I’m sure you already know, but make sure you get boots with the ribs built-in like the stock ones and make sure it’s seated properly on the opposing pipe groove. The other key is to absolutely clean the CAC pipe with a residue-free cleaner before you install the boot. You will know you got it right because the boot should almost adhere itself to the metal pipe. The thing will not come off.

    Yup, I went with a 64/66 kc, and it was great until I got my fifth wheel hooked up and started up a hill not far from the yard. Lol popped the exact same boots. Then the other side of the intercooler out .
    Kinda sucked because I had just kept putting the clamps on to get it the rest of the way.
    Ordered new pipes and boots only to find out with the aftermarket airbox and something to do with the way the pipe going from the intercooler to the intake hit so just didn't fit. So decided on the stock ugly ones that I knew fit and just used the boots and new clamps.
    Funny you guys had a plug and play turbo and mind need modifications to fit.
    It's a stage 2 kc .. 10 blade. Also sounds like a jet.lol no rolling coal though I have is tuned to make hp lol not dump it out the pipes.
    It's a dually made to hual a fifth wheel trailer with equipment.
    I can post a video to so you can hear it lol it's loud to.. it's fun eh . The spooling up of a massive turbo hahaha toys.

    Ill add . Stud it if your going to rod it. Its worth doing.
    Mine is sinister deisle kit . With a coolant filter and all. Its worth doing.
    There honestly better then the 7.3. If you dont boost a 6.0 past stock lol but if you do at least stud it. And a gasket kit . Just be safe. You can do it .
    Its not a difficult job. And worth the bucks .

    Would be much faster down low, less egt's, less smoke and a better droving truck with a smaller, reasonable turbo. You must be shooting for past 500+hp.
    You should probably fix all the problems with that old clapped out rig before spending $ to make it faster. You need front end work first before you kill somone. This channel name is powerstroke central, but the content is strait amature hour. I don't mean to insult, just some constructive criticism thats definitely needed. Fix your truck brother, for your sake snd all else on the road.

    • @fiddynutz68
      @fiddynutz68 11 месяцев назад

      Yeah your comment feels like amateur hour, clearly you don't know much about what kc turbo shoots for with their turbos, even with the bigger turbo they're getting better drivability down low than the stock smaller turbo, the smoke also has nothing to do with the big turbo, it's just bad fueling. You stand to gain everywhere with these turbos and with the right fueling and no black smoke.

      Diesels always run lean, naturally. Do you mean to much air, not enough fuel? This is a case of to much fuel, not enough air.
      Diesel engines do not regulate air, they only regulate fuel. In the case of the 6.0, HEUI HPOP, more fuel needs more air. Only way you get more air is bigger turbo. Very limited in the VGT word, go non-VGT and an S366+ or S4hundred.
