It's a pity that you did not go to the Chao Samphraya National Museum situates around the national park area. I am sure that your group would feel more amazing moment when you see our royal fine arts decorative items made of gold which reveal Thailand's civilization and one of the world best goldsmith. I would recommend everyone to visit to these precious artifacts then you will have more appreciative feeling and imagination while walking through the ruins. Actually, you should start travelling to Thailand by visiting the National Museum after the temple of Emerald budda and the Grand Palace. You would feel amaze that how come thai people made the mythology out to reality i.e. the Royal carriage in the mural painting becomes the full scaled carriage in reality and we really use them in royal ceremony also.
it's called namtan sod or fresh sugar, which is the syrup from coconut flower. They also use this to make sugar (called coconut sugar), which taste milder than cane sugar, by keep slow-boiling the liquid until it gets thicker and thicker.
Awww.. I love your channel so much! I just found the new Korean young couple channel yesterday and they are now in Chiangmai. Maybe you should collab with them. The channel is Owings and Connie. ❤️
It's great to bring your family to Ayutthaya, an ancient capital of Thailand. Wonderful that they are having a fun time there, enjoying the different types of pastry and coconut ice cream. Ken, the brownish drink that you have is actually coconut nectar, a natural sweetener collected from the coconut palm flowers. The sweet nectar is tapped by slicing the end of the matured flower bud and a cup will be placed beneath the bud to collect the dripping sap...😄 That old train ride would be a memorable moment and experience for them. I love the closing part of the video where your mom gives her opinion. Awesome content and thank you very much for producing such amazing video, Ken.
You are a wonderful and lucky family. Many Thai people have yet to travel as a family like yours. Hope you will come more often. Stay healthy, enjoy and have a safe trip.
Hi Ken, I am glad that your mom, aunt & uncle are enjoying Thailand. May I suggest you take them to Thai hair salon to experience the full head massage while getting their hair wash. I guarantee they will enjoy it tremendously.
Hi Ken, keep up the great videos. I lost my Mom when Was young... I enjoy seeing your Mom and the way she looks at you, She is so proud and happy for you but I am sure you know that already!
You should have stayed the night. I witnessed a beautiful sunset with a full moon over the horizon and made for some great photos with the river boats and temples. I had some beers later that evening at "Junk House" Bar, very catchy Thai Rock music & very good street vendor snacks like deep fried squid.
Wow that place is so amazing never seen that place even in the youtube only now in your channel .thanks for sharing ken .Good that your fam love thailand specially your beautiful mom.God bless you all.👍😍🙏🇵🇭
Good morning Ken from a sunny England as Julia and I are visiting family. We enjoyed this vlog with My Mum and she's a new fan. Very interesting vlog and we loved that your Mum did the sign off at the end 😀 Stay healthy and stay positive 🏴🏴🇹🇭🙏
The coconut flower juice is a nectar from pollen of coconut bunches. It's so sweet by natural without another some ingredients or feed additive. And we can processed into coconut sugar products for making food, desserts and bakery also. I love to drink when summer or hot temperatures 😁😁
they cut the coconut flower (จาวมะพร้าว) very early in the morning and take back to the home to caramelise in a big wok . i think the medthod is like this.
Honda Zoomer just feels weird to drive. It's like you are positioned too far forward over the forks. I was going to buy one, but after riding, definitely not! Loved the temples!
It was a good holiday place because it was near Bangkok 2-3 times, but I wanted to go again. There are many hotels along the river and delicious food there.😍😍🍻🍻👍👍
Hi Ken,use your Thai motorbike licence and you will pay Thai rates for temples, helps to pay for pants or tips for locals, cheers. The structures supporting the buildings are called pillars or columns.
Very interesting, accidentally discovered that you have a pair of beautiful long legs, haha! Those temples are amazing, it must have been a lot of hard work when they were built, thank you very much for sharing! 👍🥰🙏
Geez mate Mum must be popular viewing around these parts with the Subbies just hitting 171K. It is like a taxi meter ticking over at the rate of knots. You will be up to 200K before you know it. Awesome.
Your mum is very cool, nice to see you showing her a good time , I’m sure you do but always respect your mother ,where are you from in Germany all the from 🇬🇧
You know what!! things that the ancient Burmeses burned 2xx years ago has now returned into tourism benefit to country and that were temples what buy burned. We don't burned nor destroy, we worship, we preserve. Buddhism believe in law of Karma. I remembered last year when you announed your next target leaving Thailand after you stuck in the country for some times due to pandemic caused. I'm happy seeing you come back again and with your family. Thailand is good and bad as it is. However, our culture teach us to treat guests in our best. Thank you and family once again. Wish you have good experiences being in Thailand.
By the way, if you would like to know more of Bangkok train system and its history, I highly recommend you to watch Bangkok Pat channel. You will be impress with his knowledge and excellent presentation.
You make me want to try coconut flower juice and the 10 baht-per-piece pastry. I am surprised that your mom said the pastry is good. If people from Europe say the pastry is good so it must be good because Europe is full of divine buttery pastry and bakery.
Most of visitors who wearing Thai traditional costumes are foreign Asian visitors. And Khai-kra-tha you mentioned as a Thai breakfast , actually it’s Vietnamese influenced dish, it looks like western food cuz getting French influence when Vietnam was colonized by France.
