Ahhh I read 13 too in January! Trying for 14 this month. Ooh Simon Savidge’s reading prompt this month is a retelling and I own The Ballad of Black Tom so I need to get on that! Still watching… or listening because I’m running to my closet to get that book.
I just finished The Woman in the Library! I couldn't put the book down and I was hooked from the beginning. Though I had to get used to the writing at the start and the ending was a tad disappointing for me but I really appreciated the new spin on the murder mystery genre. I will definitely read Sulari Gentill's other books soon! I know Sulari Gentill also has a series of historical mysteries. Will you be reading them?
I completely agree! That's why I felt too. I thought the way it was very self aware to be so fun and engaging. I'm with you, I think she has a new book this year that I want to pick up. Oh I had no idea she had a historical mystery series! I will have to try it since I liked The Woman in the Library so much. Thank you for telling me!
