It's because the virus isn't effecting people like it was forewarned it could. It's just a the fringe edge of the unhealthy, elderly, or both that typically succumb to the virus. The overwhelming majority don't even know they are infected. that's one reason there's great skepticism. Anothe reason is just plain history. Human kind doesn't really have the best track record with understanding the risks of substances, until many people cross the "its too late to help you" threshold. Look how long we mishandled lead, asbestos, and even radioactive materials, before we realized it was causing great long term harm to people. Many, many, many people got cancer from those substances before the slow realization set in that what we were doing was deadly. Lead in gasoline, put into the air that people breathe. Asbestos slowly killing you inside your own home etc. When it comes to a vaccine that was developed to work on a level far more complicated than anything we've made before, working on the genetic level, I think it's extremely understandable that many people are wary to take that plunge. Genetics are very complicated, and any problems that happen on thst level can be outright impossible to cure or even manage if something goes wrong.

I'm a healthcare worker that will be administering these vaccines in my area in the near future. In the training the pharmaceutical company provided, there's a lot of disclaimers when it comes to adverse reactions. They assure everyone, there WILL BE adverse reactions when using on a massive scale but we have to make sure evey participant understand it is their choice to get the vaccine or not.
You didn't explain how the mRNA escapes the protective lipid once in the body, for the mRNA to attach itself to the ribosomes. That's a rather important part. If mRNA gets chemically damaged in any way, it can possibly tell your body to make the wrong protein.
That's true but also inaccurate, circulating mRNA does not produce any protein as it's captured by specialized cells and destroyed or simply degrades and reabsorbed as nutrients. There is plenty of bacterial mRNA circulating in blood anyways. So it's an unreasonable fear.

I’ll try to explain it as simple as possible :) When you get vaccinated two things will happen: 1. your body will produce specific antibodies against COVID-19. These antibodies are very reactive against the virus and it makes sure that when you get infected, the virus gets killed very quickly, which not only reduces your chances of getting sick, but also reduces the time you can infect other people. These antibodies will however disappear after a certain period of time, and they will only protect you for a limited period of time (1year for example). This means that your protection will be the greatest during the first months after your vaccination. 2. your body will produce specific memory cells against the virus . These cells can produce large amounts of antibodies when you get infected with COVID-19. These cells will not disappear and will protect you forever, which is very good. Booster shots are needed to increase your antibody count again, so you can fight COVID-19 very quickly and effectively when you get infected. But the most important thing boosters do, is protect you against new variants. When a booster is given, your immune system starts making new immune cells, but with slight variations. These cells recognise different virus variations and thus work more efficiently against possible virus mutations. Long story short: every time you get boostered, your immune system gets ‘trained’ to fight the virus. The more you get exposed to the virus/the vaccine, the stronger your immune system gets and it will work quicker and more efficient! I hope that helped!

Yes like in my case since the 2 shots exhaustion which is different ftom any other I ever experienced and O have swollen area under my chin. I checked blood, thyrod, allergion, oxigyn etc all fine. Short of breathe along with sensation of 'energy leak' in my neck and chest area. I can't describe it any otherwise than this. It's not stress as the doctor told me 😡 it started right after the vaccins. Well for starters we might as well stop calling it a vaccine. According to the documentation from both Pfizer and moderna this shot is actually a gene therapy drug.. please don't believe me and research it for yourself.

Yes, our government is out of control. I was terminated from O.S.M.H. for not releasing my vaccination status. Now I am 55yrs old with no unemployment insurance, no income, no severance because they said I was terminated with cause. The one lawyer I contacted basically said he didn't want to see me because it's legal. It's been over 3 months since termination and I'm now out of money to live and support my dependant. I'm just now starting to be able to speak out because of the pain they caused me. I'm a highly specialised biomedical engineer that supported all the local hospitals. Vaccination status was never a term for employment when hired. When and if I can find a job in my field of study, what is to prevent them from terminating me in the future. I am a victim of illegal acts by both my governments and employer but, not one to play the victim card. What do you recommend I do not willing to divulge my medical information? P.S. They did not give you enough information for you to have given informed consent.... and acquiescencing under duress is not consent. How can you study long term side effects first? That is impossible. Also, from a perspective of someone who has peripheral worked on many vaccine studies, the vast majority take 5 years of study, but the reason this came out so fast is 3 pronged. 1. The virus is so damaging and contagious. 2. RNA vaccines are much easier to test safely. 3. By far the biggest reason is computers. Supercomputing allows previous studies of full sequences that took many months or years to be completed in a few days or weeks at a much greater accuracy. You can equate it to the first computers that played chess to the computers of today. A grandmaster chess player does not have a chance as the computer can evaluate millions of combinations in under a second. Hope this sheds some insight into the reasoning.

I’ve had the first injection of the vaccine about 2 weeks ago and I currently feel great. The first day after having the injection however I felt a bit odd, I had bad aches and felt a little nauseous, I also have been sleeping a lot more, I don’t know if this is a direct side affect or if I’m just lazy. My Question is : If a person has already contacted Covid -19 wouldn’t that person body already has a defense system set up to prevent the virus from entering the body?
If you've already had a virus and beaten it, then you will already have antibodies which can attach to the specific spike proteins and destroy the cell. The virus could still enter your body but you wouldn't get sick from it so wouldn't be contagious with it. Getting the vaccine after beating the virus would introduce you to the same spike proteins your body has already learnt to find and destroy. Hope this helps! :)

The vaccine doesn't prevent you from getting infected, it just guarantees that your body wins the fight. Normally when you get infected, you have to make all your antibodies from scratch, and that can take time. And sometimes, it takes you so long to make the antibodies that you need that the virus has too big of a head start and you die. But with the vaccine, your body gets a head start on antibody production so if you do get infected, you're way way less likely to be hospitalized or killed by the virus. You can basically just think of the vaccine is a way to get your body armed, prepared, and ready for battle against covid.

Some recipients did report aches and pains ! I know people who struggle to sleep, have had constant headaches , 2 strokes and one death after being vaccinated. I know this is a joke but I just want to clarify that your cells only replicate the spike protein which is harmless, so even if the body by chance doesn’t produce enough spike protein to induce an immune response, you will not be affected in any negative way by spike protein alone.

It's because the virus isn't effecting people like it was forewarned it could. It's just a the fringe edge of the unhealthy, elderly, or both that typically succumb to the virus. The overwhelming majority don't even know they are infected.

Anothe reason is just plain history. Human kind doesn't really have the best track record with understanding the risks of substances, until many people cross the "its too late to help you" threshold. Look how long we mishandled lead, asbestos, and even radioactive materials, before we realized it was causing great long term harm to people. Many, many, many people got cancer from those substances before the slow realization set in that what we were doing was deadly. Lead in gasoline, put into the air that people breathe. Asbestos slowly killing you inside your own home etc.
When it comes to a vaccine that was developed to work on a level far more complicated than anything we've made before, working on the genetic level, I think it's extremely understandable that many people are wary to take that plunge. Genetics are very complicated, and any problems that happen on thst level can be outright impossible to cure or even manage if something goes wrong.

I'm a healthcare worker that will be administering these vaccines in my area in the near future. In the training the pharmaceutical company provided, there's a lot of disclaimers when it comes to adverse reactions. They assure everyone, there WILL BE adverse reactions when using on a massive scale but we have to make sure evey participant understand it is their choice to get the vaccine or not.
You didn't explain how the mRNA escapes the protective lipid once in the body, for the mRNA to attach itself to the ribosomes. That's a rather important part. If mRNA gets chemically damaged in any way, it can possibly tell your body to make the wrong protein.
That's true but also inaccurate, circulating mRNA does not produce any protein as it's captured by specialized cells and destroyed or simply degrades and reabsorbed as nutrients. There is plenty of bacterial mRNA circulating in blood anyways. So it's an unreasonable fear.
What about in patients with sickle cell disease, has anybody looked into that possibility of the spike genes Causing trouble for sickle cell patients?

I just heard from my brother the reason we keep needing booster shot is because the previous vaccine keeps mutating the virus, and this vaccine is not even really a vaccine, just something to suppress the symptoms. I don't know where he got his info though.
I’ll try to explain it as simple as possible :)
When you get vaccinated two things will happen:
1. your body will produce specific antibodies against COVID-19. These antibodies are very reactive against the virus and it makes sure that when you get infected, the virus gets killed very quickly, which not only reduces your chances of getting sick, but also reduces the time you can infect other people. These antibodies will however disappear after a certain period of time, and they will only protect you for a limited period of time (1year for example). This means that your protection will be the greatest during the first months after your vaccination.
2. your body will produce specific memory cells against the virus . These cells can produce large amounts of antibodies when you get infected with COVID-19. These cells will not disappear and will protect you forever, which is very good.
Booster shots are needed to increase your antibody count again, so you can fight COVID-19 very quickly and effectively when you get infected. But the most important thing boosters do, is protect you against new variants. When a booster is given, your immune system starts making new immune cells, but with slight variations. These cells recognise different virus variations and thus work more efficiently against possible virus mutations.
Long story short: every time you get boostered, your immune system gets ‘trained’ to fight the virus. The more you get exposed to the virus/the vaccine, the stronger your immune system gets and it will work quicker and more efficient! I hope that helped!

Well for starters we might as well stop calling it a vaccine. According to the documentation from both Pfizer and moderna this shot is actually a gene therapy drug.. please don't believe me and research it for yourself.

Yes, our government is out of control. I was terminated from O.S.M.H. for not releasing my vaccination status. Now I am 55yrs old with no unemployment insurance, no income, no severance because they said I was terminated with cause. A safe vaccine usually takes up to 15 years to develop. Long term side effects which may only occur years later need to be studied first.
How can you study long term side effects first? That is impossible. The virus is so damaging and contagious. 2. RNA vaccines are much easier to test safely. 3. By far the biggest reason is computers. Supercomputing allows previous studies of full sequences that took many months or years to be completed in a few days or weeks at a much greater accuracy. You can equate it to the first computers that played chess to the computers of today. A grandmaster chess player does not have a chance as the computer can evaluate millions of combinations in under a second. Hope this sheds some insight into the reasoning.

I’ve had the first injection of the vaccine about 2 weeks ago and I currently feel great. The first day after having the injection however I felt a bit odd, I had bad aches and felt a little nauseous, I also have been sleeping a lot more, I don’t know if this is a direct side affect or if I’m just lazy.

If you've already had a virus and beaten it, then you will already have antibodies which can attach to the specific spike proteins and destroy the cell. The virus could still enter your body but you wouldn't get sick from it so wouldn't be contagious with it. Getting the vaccine after beating the virus would introduce you to the same spike proteins your body has already learnt to find and destroy. Hope this helps! :)

Well I've seen my friends still gets covid by the fact that they are fully vaccinated for months now.
How are they? Did the vaccine help them at all or are they hospitalized?
The vaccine doesn't prevent you from getting infected, it just guarantees that your body wins the fight.
Normally when you get infected, you have to make all your antibodies from scratch, and that can take time.
And sometimes, it takes you so long to make the antibodies that you need that the virus has too big of a head start and you die.
But with the vaccine, your body gets a head start on antibody production so if you do get infected, you're way way less likely to be hospitalized or killed by the virus.
You can basically just think of the vaccine is a way to get your body armed, prepared, and ready for battle against covid.
