That whole pin thing seems so inconvenient to put in each time might as well take out a card and swipe if im gonna fiddle with a watch for 30 seconds on a passcode
I went scrolling through the comments just to see if anyone else was thinking this - as I was thinking it. And there you were at the third comment. I was going to purchase this... but If I have to fiddle around with it (as people around me also take notice) - that's a bit too much to do. I'll wait for fitbit or another company to come up with a watch that is specifically a PAY WATCH (Like the Disney Magic Band) where I can just tap and go sans all of that fiddling around. (UPDATE: I JUST SAW TIMEX HAS ONE -- I'm checking that there must also be others) Disappointing... but that's why I did a YOU TUBE search first. You always get the answers you need on YOU TUBE tutorials.
@@janetlevite3882 facts I got this for free but honestly the last version is better. They tired to make this one all fancy for no reason and the extra features are more of an inconvenience.
I was about to buy Fitbit, and payments on watch are super important for me. But this is not a option... Ridiculously long, and needles, process just to pay with a watch, especially as a whole idea is to easily and quickly pay with watch.... Skipping Fitbit just because of that. Also....no Google pay.... Even as Fitbit is part of Google ...
On the charge 4 holding the side button took me straight to the pin, it's a nuisance that I need to swipe and tap multiple times before I get there. Any shortcut?
I tried to use my charge 5 at the cafe today, but the register (Clover pad) kept saying "payment cancelled". So I finally just took out the actual physical card from my wallet to pay.
The device lock function of Charge 5 should behave like Versa 2, which have the option to unlock the device only, or unlock device and payment at the same time. That way, user need not to unlock the payment when the device was actually unlock. Entering PIN code at Charge 5 is not that easy as Versa 2.
Thanks for all the info on fitbit pay, but wont use this device to pay for something, even if I dont have any other payment methods at the time. This is not why i got the device and to use it for. take care.

That's what I was thinking. Much easier to pull out my card, or tap my phone. I was hoping this would be a bit easier.

Why the wallet option doesn't shows :(

Nice how to, setup, voice and fingers. Good instruction. I will try it!
Thank you for the kind words 🙏😊

The instructions online don't match the device and current software. Thank you for this.
You’re welcome 😊

What if there's no option to add a wallet it the first place?
Maybe it’s not supported in your country? I’m not sure on that case.
How do y add the transit card if I don’t have the ipass card?
Anyway to keep from needing to put pin in each time?
I tried 3 different credit cards and says not supported. Does this not work in Canada?
Fitbit pay, according to their list of supported banks, doesn't list my bank. Is there still a way around to use Fitbit pay ?
Unfortunately no
Have you tried linking your bank to google pay, and then linking google pay to fitbit pay?
@@joelius24 I bought a watch that works with my bank 👍 thanks for the advice though
I love Fitbit pay!
What if I lose my Fitbit?
U lose your money 💰
Hi dos charge 5 have oxygen sensor and temperature sensor???
Yes, but they are both limited in what they can measure.
Fitbit pay is pretty convenient. I use it on my Ionic.
this whole process seems way more inconvenient than just using a card or pulling out your phone and doing it from there
@StfuSiriusly it's lifestyle 😬
Works payments without conect the phone?
Yes

Cool
Cool
the device lock is pretty unwieldy
Should be no pin required for smal amounts. Say travel trips or less than $100.
i don't see a wallet in my app
sadly Google pulled the rug under charge 5 owners, have to have a charge 6 now
