I love how you have the inserts of the stores as well some wouldn’t think that matters but knowing where you shop at and what you buy from there is also essential to budgeting I’m currently at 4 stores I shop at
i wish this was longer and that you showed yourself deciding what you were getting and how low or stocked up you are on stuff. Also, butter freezes super well if you don't like to shop for it often at costco.
Hi Jia I see you have glass cleaner on your inventory list. You could do away with the glass cleaner and just mix vinegar and water in a spray bottle it does the same thing as the glass cleaner. Once my windex cleaner ran out I was like I’m cutting cost so I put 4-6ozs of vinegar in a 32oz spray bottle and filled the rest with water and boom it cleans my mirrors and glass table the same as the glass cleaner. I’m not wasting anymore money. My next step is to figure out an all purpose homemade cleaner. I’m trying to keep more of my coins. Just a suggestion for you.
We were $39 under budget for the month and I am getting some really nice steaks. My budget is $250 a month and steak is usually out of our budget so a big treat for us.
I did do well. We are a family of four during the week. The weekends add two more to our family. So I came up with a challenge of 500.00. I did go over a bit. I did not factor in three extra days they were out of school. So from Friday til Wednesday last week the kids were out of school.
We have just managed, £200 for the month as there are only two of us, however Jia, I must have misunderstood the original plan as I did not include cleaning products and toiletries in the £200 however we have spent much less in January than we normally would. Roll on February, its a shorter month too :)
Paper products and some of the cleaning products are cheaper at Walmart. Or at least that's the case here in north Florida. Costco has the best meat, but it's also the most expensive. Check Bed Bath and Beyond for your k-cups. There's always a 20% off coupon. Lately they've been on sale, and you can still use the coupon.
I went over by $95. BUT I did spend about $200 less than I normally would have. I stuck to our meal plans. We still have a little one on formula so that takes a big chunk of our budget I feel like. Overall I think I did very well this month. Going to work harder on staying in budget next month.
I did ok , noticed that I'm trying to feed people who eat more so the food doesn't end up with leftovers very often . I did however cut down TREMENDOUSLY on what I was spending. I'm going to keep going !!
Would it possible for you to fix the spelling on the laundry section of the new template? I noticed it once I printed it out, and it’s killing me lol 🤣
Ok... so I sucked... but it’s because I wasn’t fallowing this plan like I was supposed to. I’m going to start again next month and I know it’ll be better. Thank you for your channel!!
400 dollars a month for my family is so hard I have been trying to do this for months and I still spend about 550-600 a month. I did a little better this month, I’m going to try harder in February. Do you think it will be harder to spend just 400 when your inventory gets low? Also do you include toiletries and such in your 400 budget or just food?
Hi Gia, I absolutely love all your videos on both channels but unfortunately these budgeting strategies do NOT work for us as we are a family of 5 that have 700 a month in cash and only 140 a month for food. Luckily, I own our house but there are still bills to pay and we NEVER have enough to make it the end of the month
Have you thought of looking into butcher box for your meats? They have a ton of good quality meats for a great price! Before you sign up plese look for a code to get you some kind of meat for free for life I've seen where you can get a free roast , 2 lbs of salmon or chicken wings ,3 lbs if ground beef ect in EVERY order!
I did much better with my impulse grocery spending and focused more on eating at home and eating some of the frozen foods we had stored in the freezer. Need to do better with meal planning
Always use cash and always meal plan and keep an inventory list. I was under budget for January.
Awesome!

I did well and stayed at my $300 budget. I have $12 left for the last 3 days of the month and I only need orange juice and eggs.👍🏾
daflione yay that’s awesome
@@priscillaoquendo7666 Thanks Priscilla! This last week I decided to shop my pantry and cook whatever was left in the freezer to make it stretch.
I’m interested to see if you can stay within the budget as your inventory gets low.
Not sure she can??????
Hey, I would like to see you do this challenge without stocking up.

$400 was so hard to stay under. I totally failed. Will try again next month! I did spend less than I normally do:)
You can do it! Plan plan plan
Discountlady congrats! That’s an accomplishment yay
Thank you for sharing. I will be looking forward to your next video until then please take care and God bless!

I love this!!!!!
Hi! Where can I get the meal plan tracker. Very informative video!
Love your channel Good! Great tips & videos on Finance😍😍😍
I haven’t started yet, but I know I definitely spent less this month. I’m gonna join y’all for February and will break the news to hubby today 😭😭
That's good you have extra, because I only buy food with the 100.00. I have another budget for paper products etc....
Gia question...i love the inventory list, but how would you document eating out?..would you take that fund out of this total?
Eating out is a separate budget category
What about hello fresh box for food and change up

omg, good catch! lol.
🤔😯🤔😯 that is definitely a throw off

I fell off the wagon as I tried to do it with still using my debit card. Next month I’m pulling out the cash ( $400) and that is it
My budget is blown but think I will still come in a little lower than normal
