The small details make the BIGGEST differences. Spectacular video and helpful content. Being a business owner, organization is so professional. It shows the customers they are investing in something great! Awesome work.
Do you have a video implementing those? Like when you pull inventory, or how you store it? Then when inputting on eBay or posh do you enter in the sku or the barcode number in the “sku” number? If entering the sku, then how does using the barcodes help?
can you do a video on your inventory list? the list that you import to get the barcodes? I have a lot of inventory that needs to be put into a list first.
Thank you so much for sharing. I was trying to understand how barcodes work to use them in my small business to keep track of stock. You presented this so well and all information was so clearly laid out. Fantastic and I wish you every success in your business too.
Such a great video for "how to"! It's overwhelming to get all of this sorted out with labels and codes and inventory! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge on creating these labels.
If you want to create a qr code for directing to a website, you need to insert your url into a qr code generator like done in the video or just Google "qr code generator" and using one of the first few results is pretty straight forward. I doubt you're still hung up on this, but since I am watching this now and your comment is at the top, I'm replying so maybe it'll help someone still
Hello Jewel, thank you for the info. I am a starting small business of a boutique, i dont know about SKU #, can i skip it and post the products manually?
Thank you for this video. I have a question. i idont have any sku numbers or anything imported, will the barcode still work if i manually entered the barcode?
Hi & thanks for a great tutorial. If I am understanding correctly, this method will produce one sticker per item. How do you print multiple stickers of the same item?
Thank You so much it was beneficial for a person just starting a small business. can you please give a demo on creating a spreadsheet for SKUs please product is not yet been sold online to get a SKU code
I loved that you shared this. Question: Do you have to have a special printer? Every time I go to print my print won't print barcodes? prints everything thing else I need in the world by not the Avery PDF file. Labels come out blank with nothing on them.
Thank you so much for the information! This is extremely helpful. I have one question, what scanner do you use? The link you provided does not show any scanner and I would love to purchase the same as you because it's difficult to tell which ones are worth investing in online. Thanks in advance!
Hello I appreciate your video and its very helpful. I'm trying to import my data and it says when i try to upload that its too large and should be split up. Can you tell me how to do that because it will not upload. Thanks in advance
if you have more than 1 quantity of some of your items, do you know how to get the labels to print, without having to do one by one? say 5 red tops and 2 blue tshirts and 1 hat.
Can you assign a price to your bar code and will it come up when you scan it? I want to be able to ring people up as they purchase my things, but I cannot figure out how to assign a price to the 1d barcodes and have the scanner add things up as I scan.
So... I have four of product A and 10 of product B. So I need to print 4 labels for product A and ten labels for product B. Is there a setting to print the number of labels according to the quantity in the spreadsheet?
Hi can you help me out in now gerthbg a error message that my import file is too big anyway to get around this? It's asking to split the file how do you do that
This may sound like a dumb question but how does your barcode connect with your price? Your information is perfect by the way! It's our first time selling outside of the online word and I am trying to create barcodes that will connect with our price more than our inventory
Hi, that's a great question. When you input your data, select the column of your spreadsheet with the price and add that column. I chose to add the SKU, but you could add the price instead. Or, with the QR code you can do both. Hope this helps!!
@@JewelButterfly Nice video btw. I have a question related to the QR code. If i don't put any text such as SKU number or company number on the label (printout will show only QR code) and just put all the columns such as SKU, Price etc in the QR code, the user when he/she/they will scan, what will they see?
Great helpful video. Just quick question so each barcode is for different product for sure, but if u hv multiple of the same product do u hv to print more than one code? Or just the SKU is enough to b recognize by the system?
My question is it making the just for my products. Or do I need to buy a barcode from somewhere else. I feel like I’m missing something. I may just be making it more difficult than I need to. Thank you! Love this video. 💛
Hi, thank you so much for making this video. Quick question: I noticed that when you zoomed the labels there were several different codes besides the one you created with the selected SKU. Why is that? Thank you
You may have discovered the answer by now (9 mths later) but if not, I think there are different codes because she imported her entire list of products so it created an individual code for each item different product she sells. This would be useful to label a box that contained each item. She could create a sheet of labels for each individual item within the box to label each item. In this case the code would be the same.
@Jewel: I'm back with another question: So followed the steps and generated the barcodes. However, when I use a barcode scanning app, it says 'invalid barcode' what am I missing?
I was slightly misled by the video title. I was looking to see how I can make the actual barcode. I saw you upload a barcode onto the label but the barcode itself was already created. How do I create a barcode for my product? Thank you and I will scan your other videos to see if there’s an answer.
I'm confused on how you were misled by the title. She literally showed how to do what the title says. This will take you straight to where she is making the barcode. ruclips.net/video/NNCA_XY7Fu8/видео.html She deletes the temporary one from the TEMPLATE and then her spreadsheet with the SKUS will create the actual ones.
Thank you so much for your content! I have a quick question... I tried the Avery page and could not find the template number nor the QR code setting. DO you know if there are any other websites that do the same? Thank you!
There are several templates for the QR code. Also plenty of sites that can help you make a barcode but they typically charge for that service. This is my workaround to get this done for free by printing at home. You can add the QR or 1D barcode using any of the templates that fit an Avery label that you want to use, too.
I would look into one that does both that way you can experiment with the two types and see which works best for your business. You might even find that 1D works for some areas while 2D works best for others. The one I have scans both. 😁
@@joshuarozario5654 The one I use is linked in the description but doesn't seem to be available anymore. 😢 But, you can do a search on Amazon for 1D and 2D bardcode scanner. Most 2D scanners can also scan 1D.
Hi there. I have my products in a nearby store. A few days back, the store owner advised that they are doing a new inventory system at the store and for me to add barcodes to my products whereas before they would type in the price of the product for Sale. I'm cool with that but have no idea where to start. I make Soap and Oils. So should I follow this tutorial to create barcodes for my products which will be sold in store? I am sure they will work with their barcode reader right? I assume the inventory wont be updated at my end, but rather at their store for their purposes. So how can I keep track of what is being sold at the store? Im sorry for so many questions 😣. Kind Regards.
HI! You can definitely follow this video to help make your barcodes; however, you do need to speak with the store owner to determine what data he/she needs in the barcode. Once you know that, build a spreadsheet for your inventory (if you haven't already) and import the data for your barcode. Also, remember to ask if it should be a 1D or 2D barcode.
