If I play this opening my opponent almost always will play something differently.
well its a game about endless opportunities. You have to be prepared for more than one variation
you need to raise your level of play to face more predictable opponents, i play chess for like 5 days and they play random unoptimal openers most of time, but i lose a lot because of im runnung out of time (and of course blunders and missed wins)
but what i learned so far knight is the best way to gain advantage at low level, its forks really dangerous and hard to see
Jobava is known as the theory wizard. This opening is amazing against all openings you just have to study it
Because you are playing against someone who is higher than 400 elo. I think. Or it can worked in a bullet match or somewhat in blitz. In rapid games, players have time to calculate this line.
recommendation to castle at the end actually allows a fork
Where?
Nf2
Discover check with the Nb6 and rook, if they go Nf2, now king have to move you take the rook, so it's just an equal trade
@@Wryyyyyyyyy21 King doesn't have to move. Nxd1. If Kxd1, then axb6. If not Kxd1, but rather Nxa8, then Nf2 and Black wins another rook next turn.
@@johnobrienii1156king has to move bro ,knight is still on E4, before castle, you are saying it like knight is already on f2, thinking you can take on d1
Getting this opportunity (there are 3 or 4 minor variations that allow for this temporary Q sac) probably around 10-12% of games (1350 rapid). So it's quite nice! Thanks, Alex.
Quick and instructive! Thanks
Opponents always go Knight h4 attacking my dark bishop.
After a5, you can also hit them with the bishop trade, going Bxa5, Nxa5, dxa5, then the knight has to move as it's attacked by the white pawn on a5, at which point you sacrifice the queen and either black takes and you fork with the knight, ending up winning 3 pawns, or they don't and you're already up 2 points of material.
This makes no sense
dxa5? nothing makes sense.
f-ing excellent
This isn’t actually horrible for black if they know what they’re doing after e5
C6 not nc6,play the slav!
nasty
Alex, is white not up 3 pawns? Not 2😂😉
I'm 1000.. and my opponents never play Nc6. It's always the pawn move to prevent my knight jump
If c6, continue with e3, and if they do Bf5 you have f3, your plan will be g4, h4, bd3 and 0-0-0. This is a very aggressive line because if they castle kingside, it's a death sentence.
Also, you have the plan of getting the knight to e5 and going g4 g5
1200+ players almost always play a3 or c3
Oh no I think they found out😅
My opponent went Kh5 instead of Ke4 and threats bishop. What should I do?
Probably Bxc7 after Qd7 Bg6 and you are up a pawn
Alt-F4
Slide back to g3 if Nxg3 then take with the Hpawn and open up the H file for rook. Then you will have to castle long
i saw in his video he just move e3 then trade . sometimes people doesnt see the queen hitting the knight so free piece .
wow
What if the opponent goes rb8?
Than you capture on c7 with your bishop flanking the rook and queen.
@@master11050 hmm thankyou random black guy
@@Biblogigonogogga What he’s telling you is incorrect. You can’t go rb8 cuz of the check. King has to move or capture the knight since the check can’t be blocked. So if the King moves, the rook capture is guaranteed. The knight can be captured by the queen but thats a horrible move. Cuz then you
just capture the queen with the bishop and you’re up a queen.
@@shammahtaylor8391you’re wrong 👍
Not a trap, black has different options to avoid
Joe mama london
JoLo went yolo on your mom tho.

USUALLY NOW BLACK SHILLING GAMBIT SAVES THIS THING SO NOT A CHANCE
Unless you take with the bishop on a6 and force the knight/bishop trade. Also, cool it with the caps
