Your blue and gray vase is glazed with what's called "salt glaze". It's a common glaze for studio potters (like, folks working alone in studio, not for some huge company) because bad stuff evaporates into the air during the firing process and clear air laws forbid its use at a commercial scale. It's perfectly safe to use though and is even acid resistant and extremely durable. Your vase is likely not new, but may be student work as it's still a technique taught in university ceramic programs. Sorry for the lecture, but I'm a vintage dealer and had to look up a piece of salt glaze pottery I bought recently so I learned a lot about it 😊
I love thrifting home decor! I’ve found great baskets and crockware my past two thrift trips. And it makes me feel so much better about my environmental footprint than buying mass produced new things. Please never stop doing sip & thrifts!
I’ve watched so many of your sip and thrifts &now ever time I go to a coffee shop I get a matcha 🍵🥰 I wish the thrift shops in Malaysia had such nice decor
The tiny vase stands for vinegar, water, oil. I have another glass vase similar to that one with those initials that is used for mixing salad dressings
High school ceramics student work I bet, students always carve their names on the bottom. I was a High school English teacher and our school does student art sales twice a year! Lol, it's a lovely piece!
The clear glass bottle was sold with powdered salad dressing mix . The V is for vinegar. O IS FOR OIL. W is for water. They came with a stopper so you could make your own salad dressing by shaking the ingredients to mix it.
If this has already been answered my apologies. The letters on the glass bottle, it is a salad dressing bottle, the lines mean fill here with vinegar, fill here with oil, fill here with water. Then you add spices, and shake (at one time it has a stopper/top)
Try the round tray standing on the same shelf next to the basket...I think the textures compliment each other. Then put the blue pottery in front of the tray. Seems like the three things might play nice together :) Love sippin' n thriftin' with you! See ya next time
Who else noticed that the Nate Berkus frame when turned horizontally on it left side has the colors forming sort of an "M"... Lol, I see Michel everywhere😍
Hi! I love your videos and you so much, so I hope you don’t take this as hate. Not sure if I perhaps missed you talking about your turtle but he looks like a red eared slider to me. If he is, he’s gonna need a bigger tank! Again, you may have mentioned this before, so I apologize if that’s the case. Just wanted to let you know! God bless you ❤️
Great video! I think it would be fun to go thrifting, but not look at the prices. Sort of in the style of they way Monica Church did her video about shopping without looking at the prices, but instead of having a heart attack at how high they are, you could be pleasantly surprised about how much you didn't pay!

Option A on the coffee table. Nice finds!
I agree!!!
Option A with the books on your round table I liked gave me good vibes
I love the blue and grey flowerpot and I also really love the light tan pot. I think that one would be cute to hold bath salts too.
Vinegar, Oil, and Water like for making a salad dressing :) Lovely finds!
The glass "vase" was used for salad dressing. Oil, Vinegar and Water. O V W

The unfinished pot with the spout is for melting chocolate in the microwave. It works great!
Vinegar, water, oil. It's a cruet.

High school ceramics student work I bet, students always carve their names on the bottom. I was a High school English teacher and our school does student art sales twice a year! Lol, it's a lovely piece!
Yes! I've been so looking forward to this!!
I think stacking together and putting the camera on top of the basket... and the book on top of the dish/disk (option A). Kay! 😋
Good finds. Quite the score on the mug. Not crazy about either options for round wooden tray. I'd either prop it up somewhere or hang it on a wall
Drinking my half-sweet almond milk matcha latte right now!👍
I am in love with your thrifting videos! I, too, love to go thrifting... I am an avid thrifter. I come home so proud of myself!!! 😁
No guess. It's a Good Seasons cruet. Its for mixing oil, vinegar and water with a powdered mix to make salad dressing. It's missing the cap.
You could put the Nate berkus frame on its side, looks like Christmas trees

Love that vase! I like option A better for the wooden platter.

Some great finds. Love that tray.i like it on the counter but think it would also look good standing on a shelf.I really love your sip and thrifts.

Omg! I used to have a turtle named potato too lol
Wow... Great deals at your thrift store, so many things would fit nicely with my winter decor. Happy New Year.
Who else noticed that the Nate Berkus frame when turned horizontally on it left side has the colors forming sort of an "M"... Lol, I see Michel everywhere😍
Great video. You found some super cute stuff for super cheap. ❤
Such lovely finds!
For dry Italian salad dressing. I just went to Round Top in September...from California...we went on a Road Trip...Yahoo!! It was so much fun!
I really liked that you thrifted home decor!
oil vinegar water - for mixing
Will the "wooden" tray work standing on the top book shelf?
I thought the same thing...same shelf as the basket, with the blue pottery standing in front of it. :)
Yes, Drexel Heritage is medium high end like Henredon. They make furniture.
I like your necklace. Where to find it?
So that Nate Berkus frame-- if you put it sideways with green points up-- trees?
JULIE MOISANT seen this after I posted. Great minds think alike.
The v, w, and o stand for vinegar, water, and oil. It's for making your own salad dressing.

Instead of unpacking my stuff. I’m here watching your videos :) I just move in to my new apartment
I think that wooden tray would look good hanging on the wall, particularly if it is part of a gallery.
Turn your Nate B frame horizontal and it looks like Christmas Trees.
Vinegar, Water, Oil
I enjoyed this.

Would love to see you & Brooke do a shopping for each other challenge.
Love your videos! Can you please do a thrift flip 💕
Owv-- oil with vinegar. It's missing a stopper.
Oil. Water and vinegar
I will continue to patiently wait for a matcha review video of adifferent brands they sell

Hiiiii
I like Option B but looking in the comments there are a lot of A's so I think that I am voted out.
