You just entered the most seductive and amazing rabbit hole in all music….Metallica’s. These guys will blow you away with their trade marks; otherworldly instrumentation, heavy lyrics etc…and their live performances contain so much energy that people get overwhelmed and stunned…. Greatest band ever….period 🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘
I agree, their most well-known songs are on the black album and Master of Puppets, but if he wants to separate himself from the other reactors, he should check out Load and Reload.
The song at the end is called "Keep the home fires burning", a wartime song about your boys being away for war. Keep the home fires burning While our hearts are yearning Though your lads are far away They dream of home
Tell your bro he's a champ for mentioning metallica to you .... they've been my life for 20 years and I'm glad I've found this channel with a different take on my band 🤟👍
Metallica uses transition and pace in tempo for the story. Notice it starts off slow and beautiful and as the patient becomes more frustrated and desperate they transition to a harder and more aggressive style. The drums sound like machine guns and the guitar solo is made to sound chaotic like his mind spinning out of control. Metallica is famous for this so as you do more reactions you can listen for that flow.
members: James Hetfield -- Rhythm guitar and main vocals Kirk Hammet -- Lead guitar (Dave Mustaine of Megadeth was their original lead guitarist) Lars Ulrich -- Drums Jason Newsted -- Bass (their original bass player Cliff Burton died in a tour bus accident many years ago. they have a different bass player now Robert Trujillo formerly of Suicidal Tendencies) a few other popular songs people like Enter Sandman Master of Puppets Ride the Lightning Sad but True For Whom the Bell Tolls Fight Fire With Fire
The footage in the video is from "Johnny Got His Gun". It's about a soldier who was blown up by a mortar or landmine or something and he's lost all senses and limbs but is still conscious. I'm glad you're enjoying it. MetallicA is the BEST!!!
Dude react to the entire Master of Puppets (1986) album is considered the apex of thrash/heavy metal and has been enshrined in the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress of the USA as “culturally, artistically, historically and aesthetically significant” to be preserved for eternity. That’s pretty heavy shit. Check it out - from the blistering crushing opener-Battery- right into the masterpiece title track-Master of Puppets- to the angry/mean/hypersonic fast sledgehammer closer- Damage, Inc…this album is Metallica at its peak powers with their bassist virtuoso Cliff Burton- who is widely regarded as one of /if not, the best -heavy metal bass players of all time- tragically killed at 24 yrs of age - while touring for the album in a bus crash en route to a show in Copenhagen Denmark 9/27/86. A sad day forever enshrined in Metal history. Metallica learned from him and you can hear it in their instrumentals and the song you are reacting to now- ONE - from their And Justice For All album which was their first post-Cliff album and it is a bruising , pounding battle axe thru the skull of an album that showcases all they’ve learned and their musicality is on full display spewing the anger and sadness they are feeling after Cliffs death.
Mr.Haz I've been a die hard Metallica fan for 35 years know their 1986 album Master of puppets is a metal master piece you should check out the title song but the whole album rocks !
Hi, my name is Lucifer, I am a massive Metallica fan and I am going to give you some of my favourites to react to enter Sandman live in Moscow believe it or not there are 1.600,000 people at the concert. Next nothing else matters live 2007. Master of puppets. And if you’ve got a spare half an hour you can go and watch Metallica through the never
Imagine a 14 year old kid in 1989 with a queen sized water bed and a wall of speakers that would put Docs to shame cranking the fuck outta this thrashing on that bed
Legends..great song ..even though the content is sad..but true..lol..metalica fans will get that reference 😂..Now your going to have to listen to KORN.. they started the nu metal movement 👍😎🔥🔥🔥
Ok brother right from the jump, your lead in song is begging for you to react to a band named Pantera the song WALK. Im a new sub, have a great journey Metallica is one of the best a rabbit hole worth going down.
A good starting point for someone new to this whole genre (let alone metal) is Enter Sandman (live in Moscow), Harvester of Sorrow (lyrics version), Nothing Else Matters (official video) and No Leaf Clover (live with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra, 1999, not 2020). Not my favorite songs (those are mostly on the first 4 albums) but they’re still VERY good and a very good place to start. Fade to Black and Sanitarium are better IMO but get heavy at the end like One did, which you might not be ready for. People usually suggest their favorites (Master of Puppets, One, etc) but for a newbie they might be a bit too much to take in all at once (e.g. you completely missed that the guy’s arms, legs and face were blown off by a landmine, which is why you should usually have the lyrics handy). Go back 5 seconds when you pause, and try not to pause in the middle of a guitar solo. Metallica is a huge name for a reason, so have fun on your journey!
Hi my name is Lucifer I am a massive Metallica fan I no a lot of facts about this song, I am going to share some about this song to you and about how Metallica think first fact the film is playing in the background of this song is called Johnny. Got is gun Metallica actually bought the rights to this film so they do not have to pay royalties to anybody. Next The film Johnny got has gun is a true story. It’s about a soldier who gets his legs and arms blown off by a landmine. He’s also blind you can’t speak it doesn’t say in the film or the book if he’s in a coma, but it is a good assumption that he is after he gets blown up from Metallica‘s point of view, he has a split personality himself and Metallica and his father all playing off in his head I am going to cut it off there because if I keep on going, we’re going to be here all day
Great reaction. Please do Metallica Disposable Hero's (with lyrics) a song with a similar theme. One was their first video - so their first 3 albums and cover album there are no film clips for. ruclips.net/video/k16joH4lzWw/видео.html
