Guys here me out, I have tried for years to get my birds healthy and despite my consulting experts they would literally starve themselves than eat healthily, even when I mixed in with their normal food, but they would always turn their beaks up at it. Same thing they hated and I mean HATED bathing, so much. After years of trying and failing with no success I finally got them to both bathe and eat healthily in one week..... ok so hear it goes my (1) tip is offer outside (not inside their cage but OUTSIDE) their cage (2) DO NOT mix their food but put fresh greens not store bought but dandelion leaves and stuff in a bowl and fill it up with water and put on top of their cage (3) my birds are scared of most things so it took them even with being scared about two weeks to be ok next to the bowl (4) If you do not force them to do it they will be interested, now at week four I have them taking baths whenever they have an ounce of water near them and they are practically addicted to lettuce!!!! the reason I say do not buy store bought greens is because at least for my birds they way faster tried the edible greens from outside than the store-bought greens I offered them all the time but they turned their beaks up, after though they eat the fresh greens you can give them store bought lettuce!! Hope this helped!!! It made me almost cry seeing my very scared-of-any-thing mango rolling in and eating the lettuce I put out for him #proudmommymoment!!! I tried everything I could but this is the only way I succeeded, I hope I helped your bird over its fears and helped you get him to eat healthy!!! Good luck, hope this helps to everybody whos having a really hard time getting your bird to eat healthy!!
Hello my friend, you are forgetting one thing to mention about what the darkfactor does, it does not only block the melanine (black pigment) but it also changes the structures of the feather, the feathers become thinner and lie closer toghether , so less light can refract back and so it also makes the colours look darker. The best way to see this is in the ino mutation you can have an lutino with a darkfactor, and altough there is no melanine in the bird it still looks darker then a normal lutino, this is because of the structure change. This is also why most dark or double dark mutations look smaller then the birds without darkfactors. Kind regards Ouwes
Does that mean the dark grey budgie I saw at the pet store was actually a Mauve? I’d never seen a budgie that dark grey before with a stunning white face. I would’ve bought it but couldn’t afford it.
@@sunnys_day There is nothing confusing, the dark gene as the name suggests, it darkens the color of your budgie, if it was green it gets darker green and if it was blue it gets darker blue ✌️
@@sunnys_day Wait for his next episode, he promised to explain this later. Grey factor is another mutation that creates greygeens and greys. Quite simple mutation to understand, though it comes in single and double factor 😁
@@BudgieWorld I have about 20 different fallow budgies at my place. I am fascinated by their beauty. For a very long time I wanted someone to give a good explanation about Fallow mutation
Hello one of my budgies has a yellow head with some white on it and a nice light blue body can you tell me mutation is that and she has black and grey wings
Sir, could u plz tell me what should I provide to my budgie after egg binding. Yesterday, egg got struck into her body, and fortunately I removed the egg from her body. So, could u plz tell me that what should I provide her? 🙏🙏🙏
i have 2 budgies but they arent currently hand trained and they are not able to come out of their cage. I wanted to ask is it fine if i have plants close to them but they cant chew it ?
that depends on the genetics of the parents, here are all the mutations we have covered so far, there is a video about normal, ino and opaline, this will help you understand better and answer your question -> ruclips.net/video/G0HQNIqHBwQ/видео.html&ab_channel=BudgieWorld
Ok I know that this is off your topic but can you please try to help me.. I got this (B8fc8781) off of my parakeet band can you tell me what year that it was born.. I got her in 2015
@@BudgieWorld I understand that but I'm curious as to why it is selected against in the wild. I would think that duller colored birds would survive better from predators in the wild.
Can anyone answer me?. I'm a beginner. I have purchased a large cage for a pair of budgies. Is it fine? Or the budgies get bored? I heard that budgies are social loving birds. Should I replace one more pair? Or is it fine with one pair?.. if anyone have an idea, pls tell me.

The violet gene acts close to the dark gene, but the grey is a different story. Yea, we will discuss them in a later video

I have very light blue budgie what is his gene?
i have 2 budgies but they arent currently hand trained and they are not able to come out of their cage. I wanted to ask is it fine if i have plants close to them but they cant chew it ?
Sure if they don't have flowers with pollens. But make sure they won't be able to reach for them.
Ok tell if i piaring normal green budgie and oplion green budgie then i get lutino budgie in this piaring

How to create voilet color budgies parrot
Keep it up 👌💪
I paired 1cobalt male and 1dark green opaline female.🙂what will be the result of their offsprings?
They can have all the color mutations, (unless the green budgie has Bl/Bl genes, then they can only have all the green color mutations
@@BudgieWorld ok😅.they hatched 2 eggs and the chicks are 6-7 days old.let me see what happen next🙂🙂

Ok I know that this is off your topic but can you please try to help me.. I got this (B8fc8781) off of my parakeet band can you tell me what year that it was born.. I got her in 2015
It's hard to help you because, it depends on which country you come from, I believe different countries have different patterns for the bands
@@BudgieWorld thank you I believe I figured it out.. Rebecca is 8 years old and Maria is 6 years old
Did the dark gene dominant mutation occur in captivity given that wild type budgies don't seem to have it?
You can still find dark green budgies in the wild, but it's not as common as in the captivity, they are predominantly light green
@@BudgieWorld I understand that but I'm curious as to why it is selected against in the wild. I would think that duller colored birds would survive better from predators in the wild.
Hey I know this isn't about the video but do you know why my budgies nose went from brown to white
The brown cere indicates your budgie is in breeding condition, it's a seasonal thing
