What inspired the ghosts and demons of Ghostbusters? We saw that in fact in the cartoon where several episodes were on experiments with Slimer who was cuter with the voice. Time Square does become "slime square" in it.

Slimmer a.k.a. Onion Head looks like the lawyer from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas book. John Bulishi almost played the lawyer in Where the Buffalo Roam along side Dan Akroyd as Hunter S. Thompson.
