Man you missed a huge damn point, and it's like half like what makes it work with all the cast in green in that chars list, *YOU HAVE TO MASH A JUMP AERIAL LIKE NAIR OR FAIR TO CATCH THEM ALMOST 100% OF THE TIME*!! like it doesn't matter if you Footstool or not, if you use Nair to catch their DJ they are dead, also you might dj anyways since you mash jump out. One more thing extra important is that while attacking you can't be footstooled so it prevents you being screwed trying this gymmick.
"You might think it would never work against a decent opponent" This is what people say about Ganon smashes, and it's hard to find any competitive ganon match without some cheesy c-stick kills
Broke: Footstooling the opponent after the grab release. Woke: Spitting out the opponent towards the stage under the ledge such that the star bounces down at a very harsh angle.
I haven't tested this since the game came out, but I believe that your opponent can actually tech that hit while they are a star. EDIT: I just tried it out and I couldn't get a tech, so that might not be true
There's something pretty interesting (but extremely MU dependant) that you can see in the JeJa vs Sytonix clip Inhaling characters that usually ledgetrap really close to the ledge, things like Fox Little Mac, shotos etc... It's a really good conditioning tool, if they see that you're stupid enough to go for the 0% kill they will probably stop to do their most optimal ledge trap (like Ken Down-tilt / Up-tilt or Fox's Bair spam) for something more safe. Sometimes I even have people giving me the stage control back for free juste because they are scared of dying at 0
Yesterday I was playing a game again a person who always jumped from ledge, so instead of using inhale, I won with the final move being an aerial fully charged hammer flip! I felt so good after landing it.
Another interesting strategy for stages where you can go under the stage (like battlefield), is to inhale the opponent and then spit them out under the stage. Some characters can recover from this, but many can't.
What’s your best advice for beating Kirby’s inhale at ledge? Especially when you’re down a stock and have to make a comeback. You can’t just not approach at those times, so what do you do? I guess it’s character specific but many characters have little to barely any tools to deal with this. I’m sorry for asking a lot of questions about this complex topic; if you can’t sum it all up right now you could make a video about it. I just want to stop getting cheesed as Ganon by my friend that mains Kirby.
Hey Juggleboy or anyone who plays competitively. Are you allowed to use a pro controller that is modded with the C stick and movement stick that are the shape and size of a gamecube controller. Basically subbing them out for the gamecube controls on those buttons, Thank you!
2:55 how in the hell do you do this combo i've only managed to hit the nair on heavy characters and the up tilt is just impossible for me to hit does this work on banjo and no one else or am I just doing something wrong
That combo doesn't work on everyone and has specific percent ranges when it does work. You want to slightly delay the neutral air and fast fall with it. Delaying gives you the later hitbox, which doesn't send the opponent as far, allowing the up tilt to connect. And make sure you are doing a turnaround up tilt
@@CoffeeFields101 something i actually figured out is that when the opponent mashes in kirby's mouth kirby will go up in the air slightly and you can turn midair if you time it right im pretty sure that's how he did it
4:08 is Pokemon Trainer all of the Pokemon or just one or two? BTW for some reason when i went into training against a level 7 lil mac they wouldn't mash out until we were basically off-screen, but level 9 lil mac mashed out about as fast as the one in the video

I formally apologize to the all of the opponents on quickplay that I encountered looking for clips for this video.

I also like spitting them so they're right below the stage and they bump their head wasting their double jump.
I pray to juggleboy everyday knowing that he made a guide on how to gimp
I always wondered why getting the footstool felt so inconsistent, so that chart was really helpful!

There really do be a kirby main community out there.
Oh how I wish for the glory days of weekly uploads of Kirby takes on elite.🥺
I won’t lie it’s nice to see someone else talkin about this cheese strat that I’ve used and abused
I need to make my own super in depth guide. Wanna help?
I'm down!
WE NEED THIS COLLAB!!

this is my absolute favorite thing to do when im badly losing a match

How do you counter this can you make a video on it
Using evilgoku clips at the end… he was a menace in swfl scene

Great guide. Thank you.
Yeah, you can say it's lame, but come on, I'm playing Kirby. I gotta do what I can to win.

The endlag for inhale is very big, if they are camping the ledge inhaling you can easily punish from above by jump + dair or fair
I do this others, this will help me to a next degree
Love this

1:15 You don't get invincibility from grabbing the ledge. You get intangiblility. Misinformation is cringe. (Nice video otherwise)
