Good evening Vagabond Life followers and RUclips subscribers.
And so it begins......
After a very slow start to the Kiwifruit season this year, due to ALOT of rain over the winter and summer, plus on top of that natural disasters in the form of Cyclone Gabriel and flooding, which devastated some orchards, the season has finally begun.
This is just a little snapshot of the day and life of Darren forklift driving in the Kiwifruit season 2023 at Trevelyans.
Early morning starts in the dark, but you get to see some great sunrises and to work with some awesome people.

Good one. I am a recent convert to the Gold kiwifruit. They are better that the green, and seem easier to peel. I guess you plenty of choice, enjoy yr work. 😊

Hey Pete oh the gold are so much better, and as you said easier to peel (no brown hairs everywhere) but the red are even better (have like a jam type quality to them but not really sweet like jam) if you get a chance you should give one a try.
