    Neuroendocrine tumours (NETs) may cause no symptoms or very general, nonspecific symptoms such as abdominal discomfort, abdominal pain, bloating, general fatigue, diarrhoea and weight loss. These symptoms of NETs are ‘nonspecific’ as they can be caused by other illnesses.
