This video was created to demonstrate the power of the Quilting Master quilting through a very thick batting. In this example, we have a top, and back of fabric, 3 layers of quilt batting , for a total of 17 oz. & 1 extra layer of cloth.
We quilted one of our Traditional feather medallion baby quilts at 1,400 SPM. The finished size is about 36 x 45 inches. It completely quilts in less than 20 minutes
A design with cross hatching like this would be almost impossible on a home hobby type of quilting machine, such as Gammill, Innova, A-1, Tin lizzy, etc. With the Quilting Master, we quilt these in sheets of 4 or 6 ( depending upon the size of the Quilting Master system)
