Jordy Nelson was hurt, James Jones past his prime, Randall cobb was not the same player, Davante Adams was dropping passes this year, and Eddie was gaining weight. Tough 2015 year.
Just yesterday I thought about this game and wondered if you had it uploaded...there it is!! Thanks for the amazing work Obersports, in compiling all those great games!
I don't know whether I should feel hyped or terrified by watching these games vs Minnesota. On the one hand I should feel excited about this, but I also feel like this could be a jinx.
This season was all kinds of nutty. GB starts the season 6 - 0 and then gets embarrassed on primetime against the eventual SB champs in the Broncos. Then they split every divisional game; losing them all at home and winning them all on the road. They even lose to the Lions at home for the first time since like....forever. Then their season is saved by a hail mary by Rodgers on primetime. They end up not being able to capitalize on a 5th straight division title at Lambeau in week 17, which then knocks them down to the WC round, only to lose in OT to a Cardinals team they had no business taking to OT, because well, Aaron Rodgers isn't human. God, do I love this football team!
I've felt like 2 things held them back from being better and one was the Jordy Nelson injury which hurt their deep threat and also because of the championship game the year before. I felt they still couldn't get over that.
That Denver game was the blueprint to beat a Mike McCarthy offense. Heavy press coverage man to man, so the receivers can't get open and have the front four get to Rodgers since nobody will be open. Why he never adjusted is beyond me.
Losing that Week 17 game was almost a blessing in disguise. Instead of a rematch in frigid weather against a Seattle team that always found ways to create miracles or benefit from heartbreaking opponent mistakes (as the Vikings would find out firsthand!), they got to play a "Somebody had to win the division" team in Washington DC.
Its interesting to see how different Green Bays offense is now than what it was under McCarthy. Mccarthys offense relied on receivers winning their 1 on 1 matchups. A lot of shotgun and pistol formations. For Lafluer its about scheming guys to get open and not using a lot of shotgun or pistol.
As a Packers fan, I think I speak for a lot of us when I say the worst thing about playing the Vikings is having to listen to that stupid f*cking horn for three hours! This was a great game though!
The last decent QB MN had was Green Bay's old, put out to pasture QB Brett INT. LOL This team has been clueless as to what a good QB is since the 60's.
That TD to Jones along the sideline is one of those players plays I’ll never forget

Even crazier that we were 6-0 or 7-0 to start the year till that terrible broncos game
“Tough” 2015? Try my Dallas Cowboys
@@astro1700 i swear
Honestly bro that year was so tough to watch
You forget how nasty that Eddy lacy spin move was
As I watched this, I was remembering watching the game live. Too bad the No Fun League banned Jones' "cali swag" after this season... =(
This was a strange era of Packers football. I feel like from about 2012-2015 it was all a blur.
Tell me about it fr 😮

6:36 what a hell of a throw
I remember this one. Channel flipping between the NASCAR season finale at Homestead and this game.
Thanks Jacob.
I love how you featured their field goal miss😂😂😂
Go Packers. Aaron Rodgers will get the MVP this year.
Ok daddy
Say your Hail Mary's. I hope so too.
Yesssssss
Yeah that won’t be happening....We are a running team now.
I agree. Now he has something to prove. Second year in a new offense. I fully expect a good season from him as long as he stays healthy.

@@greg7964 haha yeah man. They were fortunate to even make it back to the playoffs after the meltdown in Seattle.
My dad is a lions fan and he was freaking out and wouldn’t shut up about winning at lambeau but we all know what happened the next matchup

I remember celebrating Thanksgiving with all my relatives while watching this game
Edit. I also remember a squirrel running around too
When the Vikings were real men and played outside

You have to wonder if McCarthy is willing to switch it up in Dallas. His old methods worked in the past, but things have changed.
I remember watching this live
That throw at 6:28. Laser guided missile
If you can you should up load the "He did what?" Game against the vikings Monday night game from 2000 I believe
Looks like a real football game in the college stadium

Packer's is going to take the game
Packers r dominated
Go Pack go!!
What came first: Hoodie Melo or Hoodie James Jones?
U should do the packers eagles game from 2016
Hoodie time
Jeff Janis and haha clintondix was cold too 🥶
this stadium honestly better than us bank stadium
I'm surprised it hasn't collapsed yet, you know, like the last one, and your freeways. Your construction workers build like your team plays. Sucks.
Anybody notice rodgers quick cadence sounded way different than usual?
We stan hoodie Jones
God I hate that fucking Viking horn
James jones interview with Colin Cowherd brought me here
It’s kinda crazy how Rodgers and Mason Crosby are the only guys in this video who are still on the packers (I think that’s true at least)
Davante Adams
Matt Breisch oh yeah I forgot about him 😂
ah feast mode in the backfield

All I gotta say is onside kick 🤷🏽♂️ Seahawks going all the way this year
Bajablast Yt only to throw a pick at the one again lmaooo
Lmfaooo the packers defense was soooooo terribly awful around that time
