I have read somewhere that back in Witcher 1, in Triss's house you can find footprints by her window. In witcher 3 during "never have I ever" game Lambert tells you that he too jumped out of a lover's window to avoid hurting a friend. Also his unique gwent card is Triss.

My favorite easter egg in this game, and maybe even any video game every created, was how Vesemir told Geralt he had to work on his upwards vertical strike in the beginning of the game, when fighting the griffin. And what attack did Geralt use to finish Eredin in the end? An upwards vertical strike.

I think Skyrim is way better. I felt much more connected to the world and with my own character. It is a huge thing for me to create a unique character who I can specialize and roleplay. In the witcher 3 you experience a story in skyrim you make your own story. Never really felt home in witcher 3. In skyrim you can just walk through the woods and play like its a regular day in your "second life" if you wanna go this far. In the witcher I was not really that connected to geralt. And I love the fact that Skyrim is first person perspective. That immerses me way more into the world. Same goes for the fact that every item you can pick up is a real physical object you can place somewhere or throw down a cliff. Witcher and Skyrim are both exceptionally great games which focus on different things. I would go as far as to agree that witcher is a better game than skyrim objectively but at the same time I love Skyrim more, much more.

Di General (Why do people always argue in my reply/comment section) Tomb Raiders have been a thing since before the game series. The fact you find this corpse in a tomb doesn't add evidence because obviously a tomb raider would be in a tomb. It's as much a refrence to Indiana Jones as it is to Lara Croft. The difference between this and the Assassin's Creed reference is that the AC reference was very specific. Yes, assassins have existed since before the games, but we never associated them with white hooded robes and haystacks before the games. The AC reference is an assassin dressed in specifically AC clothing doing a very AC thing. The Tomb Raider reference is just the corpse of a tomb raider. If the corpse was wearing something remniscent of Lara Croft's outfit it would be a reference.

Olgierd von Everec was based on Andrzej Kmicic from Henryk Sienkiewicz's "Potop" (eng. "The Deluge") and Olgierd is kind of similar to the Polish actor who played Kmicic in the movie - Daniel Olbrychski. The conversation before Olgierd's and Geralt's fight is taken from the book, where Kmicic fights with Wołodyjowski. Although in The Witcher Olgierd says the Wołodyjowski's part and Geralt Kmicic's.
Olgierd: "Would you wait, sir, for the dribble to subside?"
Geralt: "Makes no difference to me."
And then during the fight Olgierd says: "You do not strike, sir! You flail!"
Olgierd has also a scar on his head just like Kmicic (he got it in the fight with Wołodyjowski).
Also when Geralt fights against Iris' Greatest Fear it says: "A witcher shall soon be buried. The skies weep.", which is also Kmicic's words (There was "colonel" instead of "witcher" though).

I ignored this game for the longest time, from its release in May 2015 until a few months ago. I never was into that sort of "Middle Ages Fantasy RPG" genre (more into the Fallout 3/4 type first person or third person action shooter genre), so never even looked at any Witcher 3 videos on RUclips. But a few months ago, I saw that Witcher 3 with the two expansion packs was on sale for under 30 dollars on the PS4 store, and decided to buy it to see what the hype was about.
The first few hours I felt bored and couldn't get into the game, the controls felt wonky and I was wandering around aimlessly. But I decided to stick with it, and then after a few more hours of playing and discovering cool Witcher 3 abilities and intriguing side quests, I started to become hooked.
Now, after finishing the main Witcher 3 quest, I can honestly say this is probably the best game I have ever played in my life. I was surprised at how much I loved the storyline and all the main and side quests. In fact, Witcher 3 isn't all that different from Fallout 4 or any other open world game like GTA V, they all have the same gaming mechanics (main mission and side quests, customizable weapons, moral game choices, etc etc). What sets Witcher 3 apart for me is the way the game just involves you with the characters, these are people you really care about and feel a part of. The romance of Triss and Geralt is something I still treasure long after I was done with the game.
    Can't wait for Witcher 4.

I say serieses too. Not forming a plural distinct from the singular is dumb. There's less distinction.
Part of the problem lies with prescriptivists that demand that language hearken back to what came before (in fact, the nominative singular and plural of series in Latin were the same.)
The other part of the problem has to do with the fact that 's' is a sibilant fricative, which requires more breath support than most sounds. As such, many people either can't pronounce consecutive sibilant fricatives or have a mental prohibition for it.
      I also like 'thesises'

Then later in the game I came across an NPC named "Dolores Reardon" (pronounced the same way without the O) and thought "There's no fucking way that's a coincidence." I wonder if someone on the development team is a Cranberries fan and decided to make an esoteric easter egg. Or maybe I'm overthinking and I'm just crazy. Am I crazy?
