Maybe not a secret quest but the small DLC quest, Where the wolf and the cat play, is one of the best additions to the game, a very good moral choice quest for sure.
I have no regrets with the decisions I made when I stumbled onto that one, really made me feel heroic doing what I can to right with what transpired. Moreso not being tempted to use Axii and instead presenting a particular item to a character to naturally progress the story, instead of forcing it.
Trathien no, it’s the right quest BUT just to add on to it, you can use Axii and still give said item to said NPC. As long as that item is picked up, Geralt will return it to said NPC
Cain Crasto then let me not be so ambiguous...in the Wolf and Cat Play quest you can either use Axii on the little girl to get her to tell you what happened in Honorton OR give her the doll she dropped. I was saying BOTH options Geralt will giver her back her doll. If you use Axii, he will give it to her by saying “is this your doll” after she tells you what happened. So case in point to the comment I replied to first, both options return the doll. Don’t try and correct someone if you don’t know the actual answer. I’ve played through every quest across all platforms except Switch multiple times. I know what I’m talking about bud.
Why Mr. White just why ? I know it's hard to manage being 'Heisenberg' and family matters at same time but you're a chemistry teacher you're better when comes to games
My favorite missable quest was one where you investigate the disappearance of a dwarf's brother. You come across some shady individuals that tell you the brother came and went and your quest line updates to say "Report back to the dwarf." But if you instead investigate further and search around behind the house and I think in a basement or some caves, you find the dead brother and that these people are actually cannibals. I never see it listed or referenced in these lists, so I often wonder if nobody found the quest, nobody found the brother, or if everyone found the brother and didn't think it was remarkable like I did, lol.
Yeah, this one was one of my favorites. The quest tells you to go back. But something didn’t seem right about that couple who were too content to live in such a dangerous place. The horror of what a little detective work reveals is frightening.. Those monsters weren’t pushovers either as I recall.

Also, there are TWO small quests in Crow's Perch, where you can save the people living there from evil Baron's men. They happen after you finish the storyline of the Bloody Baron, and he either dies or goes to the Blue Mountains.
After 2 full playthroughs w/ dlc and 3 times through blood and wine I've only encountered 7/10. That's why I trust that Cyberpunk 2077 will be a great experience.

Fallout New Vegas despite being developed under 1.5 year with a fraction of CD project's 314 million dollars budget has more skill checks(Speech, Barter, perception,Repair,science,Lady killer, charisma)in it's dialogue tree alone for different outcomes compared to the *entirety of anything seedy project ever made* Cyberpunk is littered with fake skill checks. From side quest to companion quest to main quest to faction quests to side activities to choice/consequences that actually effect the open world, New Vegas *obliterates* Cyberpunk Dragon age origins perfectly executed this life path system years ago Keep in mind I didn't include fundamental aspects such as AI, Life simulation, physics, level of interaction in the open world because in that department cyberpunk has been annihilated by even 15 yr old games multiple times *Secondly Witcher 3 is NOT the best RPG, call it an action adventure game Or whatever you want, just don't insult RPG genre*

I played this game so much that I practically did all the sidequest. These aren’t new to me lol 😂. Love this game. And probably ill let it upgrade it for the Ps5 and play it again
Recently played the game for the first time on my PS5 and I absolutely loved the game and regret not playing it sooner. Doing the blood and wines currently I’ve done damn near every side mission possible tho 😂
Witcher 3 enhanced edition will be worth the cost of a PS5 on its own. I was late to the Witcher 3 party, but believe me, no other game has ever come close to being as good as this, not even RDR2.
Haven’t missed any of those. But actually I am playing the game since it’s release back in 2015. I literally know every quest, secret, outcome, each and every cave and more 😂
Surprisingly a decent video that actually showed some quests that most people normally miss. From what I have seen only the lord himself xLetalis actually makes worthy Witcher 3 videos. As for missing any of these quests, surprisingly I had missed quests 9 and 2 nor have I seen them before. Time to go back and play those quests.
Idk why but I actually liked the blood and wine DLC more than the game itself. I felt it really played into the whole narrative of the dark side to old folk tales. Surrounded by beauty but evil lurks underneath. I think that's also why I liked the skellige section of the game. Beautiful landscape but evil lurking
I restarted the archaeologist quest after I annoyed the vampire a second time and he attacked me. There’s no point in killing a creature just because it was trying to take a nap and we were being dicks.
I've been watching whatculture gaming videos these days since last months during this pandemic time. Yeah i got a new laptop, i was playing with ps3, now have been catching-up with next gen game. So i almost watching 2-3 videos of this channel everyday. These 10 ten help me fulfilling my recommendation, And now I've been playing the withcher 3 and at level 28 thanks guys, keep up the goodwork
Aw yay!!! I'm glad I accidentally did the secret doggie quest. I was hoping to have him stick around as a companion of sorts, but it's nice to know I did everything right on that mission! 😁
There are actually 2 more quests very, very easy to miss Both in Skellige I think One of a man chained to a rock to be eated alive by harpies because his little sister lied to him And another to help a noble kid and a women, that don't speak any language that Geralt understands, flee from bandits This game is MASSIVE
For the first, it wasn't that the girl lied to him, she was his niece and lied saying that he molested her, but reveals that she was lying because she just didn't like him for some reason.
@@om3ga109 I had to go see the wiki because that was really familiar. We are both right somewhat. The Girl actually says that but the chained man isn´t the uncle, he is the brother who killed the uncle, because of what you said , and because of that was condemed to the rock
I have completed every single contract, every single hunt for witcher gear, every single side quest, found every single undiscovered location in the game, YET I’ve still missed some of these encounters. This game never fails to amaze me!
I actually found On Death's Bed and A Dog's Life because I enjoyed wandering around and talking to the townsfolk too much. Before my game was stolen I had spent around 100 hours before even /going/ to Skellige. I gotta pick it back up soon

I am like 80% of the way through my 5th play through of TW3 and I’m considering starting over from the beginning for the sole purpose of completing “gangs of novigrad”. I ALWAYS fail it.
@@evoandy There’s a quest I got on my 1st playthrough, that I’ve never had since, which I think is related to “Gangs of Novigrad” - it starts near the Rosemary And Thyme, on the road that leads to the halfling herbalist, just before you get to the first buildings on the right side of the road there are some bloodstains that show up to Geralt’s Witcher senses and, if you follow them, they lead to a dead body. I can’t remember what happens next though, since it’s been years since I did it and I’ve had thousands of hours in that world since!!!
Follow up to the prisoner ending, if you do a newgame + from that point you will loose everything, but receive and upgraded version of the starting gear... but you will only have one sword. Also, if you do a newgame + when bound there you will start the new game with your hands tied behind your back. They will stay tied until you eventually are forced to do an emote, like dancing... which is hours into the game. I haven't done the Blood and Wine stuff, but I have done all the other stuff on this list. On Death's Bed was one of my favorite ones, because of the ending. It wasn't bad to save her, just the boyfriend doesn't know what to do now since she is different. Also, there is another time sensitive quest at the start of the game involving the raven stone Yen used in the opening. If you don't pick it up before leaving it is gone for good... Was the Skelliga quest where you are judged by how many monsters you helped a hidden quest? I feel like the best solution was hidden, since it required you to help several monsters in other side quests. It was near the area where you fight a troll in a boxing match. Also sort of near where you find the giant building a boat in the mountains.
I love RPGs that reward players with quests like this. I wish more RPGs trusted their players the way the witcher 3 does. I like quest markers, but I wish most games didn't rely almost entirely on them. Making exploration worth it is so rewarding.
Okay pretty sure EVERYONE did that quest with Tomira, hell the game requires you go talk to her(or at least tells you to) missing out that quest is just being unobservant since all it takes is being there and talking.
I've played through 4 or 5 times. I've found all but the engagement ring one. I got the dog one on my first playthrough but have not been able to get it again because until this video I forgot where it was located. Burlap is the New Stripe is the BEST ending for Blood and Wine
just yesterday discovered a mini quest on my third playthrough. in velen while roaming i saved two traders from bandits and later found them in crow's perch as a trader. Wonder how many more quests are yet to be discovered.
I've already known about all of these except one, not that I've done them all yet. Just another reason to do more playthroughs. Actually didn't know about the dog one so thanks :)
There is also a whole branch of hidden quests of the Drumond clan, available only if you fulfill the order for the ghost of Eldberg BEFORE the berserk attack during the election of the king in Caer Trolde. 10 - went through the quest with the portrait of Geralt myself, of course; 9 - found the ring in the stream on a tip from the Internet; 8 - went through Geralt's stay in prison on a tip from the Internet; 7 - found a sleeping vampire by a hint from RUclips; 6 - found a map with a cross on Skellig myself in the first playthrough; 5 - found a fighting girl in Ochsenfurt on instructions from the Internet; 4 - studied the fate of the patient of Tomira myself; 3 - statuettes of a soldier and a sorcerer, of course, in most playthroughs I cast spells; 2 - found the quest with the dog myself; 1 - found the quest "Flesh for sale" myself, it can only be completed before the start of Lambert's quest in Novigrad.
My most memorable side quest is the cockney bloke trying to teach trolls how to swear. I was just travelling by on Roach and heard the dialogue and had to check it out. Glad i did 😂
Playing this game for the first time and had clocked a good three weeks of gaming. Then saw I was only 4% completed. It's brilliant. I'm only playing it because of one of Scott's other videos
The dog actually has a name(forgot what it is btw). If you read notes in the notice board, there is a chance you'll find a note that his owner is looking for him. Where a person is looking for his dog that joined a pack of wild dogs during a chaos caused by the war.
I never met the dog and had been scratching my head to find the key for that particular lock, I gave up thinking it's probably something I'll find along the way or perhaps was a glitch... oh well....

I had never played a witcher game until The Witcher 3 a few weeks ago. I love the game, there is definitely a lot to do, however the main storyline felt so small compared to everything else in the game. Cyberpunk was...yeah, hopefully CDPR can make an amazing comeback with The Witcher 4.
Didn’t know about a few of these and I’ve beaten the game over 10 times. I’m more obsessed with the combat builds though. I think the games combat mechanics are underrated and looked over because of all the content.
witcher 3 has so many things you can miss or never find out it's untrue. 300+ hours so far on first playthrough with both dlcs im at lvl 51 and finally got all my spaces unlocked in the character thing with the extra slots. It uses up something like 24 points so its hard to not be tempted to give it a miss.
People miss it Couse once they hit skellige they wanna quit for a while then they return but forgot everything so the restart and cycle starts again the more u play the less u go tr unbeaten path so skellige if u don't think it's fun or worth it u don't do it Couse been going for 60 h+ already
Some of these just evil Couse they give u easy quests and then u go too higher lvl places u don't even know u missed this gold but my rule if u can do it if u get do it and always search for the qeust if it's part of bigger line
Really getting into this game now. Played it couple times over the years but. Didn't get into it until now. At the time it came out I was big into fallout 4. I enjoyed fallout 4, but wished I put more effort into this one too.
No way.. I almost triggered that hidden archaeologist quest while chasing the guy that tried to rob Zolton of his gwent card profits. I followed him into the sewers and there was a series of walls that could be blown open with Aard and the last wall I opened led into a cave and I left it to chase the guy because I didn’t want to lose him. I’m gonna have a hell of a time finding that spot again..
Did all these except 8 on my first (and current) play through. I haven't even gone to the isle of mist yet lol. At the moment I'm level 50 and finishing blood and wine. 240 hours played.

Witcher is still awesome in 2021 and yes I've seen everything as I explored every question mark in all dlcs and finished the game on death march many times

I've missed 3 of those quests. I never got arrested, didn't know about the dog. And never went to skellige early.
You can still get the last one while completing the main story quest that's part of the town.

I have just finished my final main quest in Witcher 3. I'm fairly proud to say that I've experienced most of these "secret" quests. A legendary game.

its disappointing that cyberpunk does not have as many side missions and there is allot more filler quests.

Think I pretty much found it all in The Witcher & The Witcher 2 Assassins of Kings, but I still find new stuff in The Witcher 3 The Wild Hunt
Definitely didn’t miss any of these all are actually well know and easy to find
Follow up to the prisoner ending, if you do a newgame + from that point you will loose everything, but receive and upgraded version of the starting gear... but you will only have one sword. Also, if you do a newgame + when bound there you will start the new game with your hands tied behind your back. They will stay tied until you eventually are forced to do an emote, like dancing... which is hours into the game.
I haven't done the Blood and Wine stuff, but I have done all the other stuff on this list. On Death's Bed was one of my favorite ones, because of the ending. It wasn't bad to save her, just the boyfriend doesn't know what to do now since she is different. Also, there is another time sensitive quest at the start of the game involving the raven stone Yen used in the opening. If you don't pick it up before leaving it is gone for good... Was the Skelliga quest where you are judged by how many monsters you helped a hidden quest? I feel like the best solution was hidden, since it required you to help several monsters in other side quests. It was near the area where you fight a troll in a boxing match. Also sort of near where you find the giant building a boat in the mountains.
Haha that "everyone" missed, I'd say, realized I did all of these quests lol! Then again, some of these are pretty easy to miss.

I love RPGs that reward players with quests like this. I wish more RPGs trusted their players the way the witcher 3 does. I like quest markers, but I wish most games didn't rely almost entirely on them. Making exploration worth it is so rewarding.
Okay pretty sure EVERYONE did that quest with Tomira, hell the game requires you go talk to her(or at least tells you to) missing out that quest is just being unobservant since all it takes is being there and talking.

I only knew 3 of them and I didn’t even finished them all. This gift that keeps on giving.
I've played through 4 or 5 times. I've found all but the engagement ring one. I got the dog one on my first playthrough but have not been able to get it again because until this video I forgot where it was located.

just yesterday discovered a mini quest on my third playthrough. in velen while roaming i saved two traders from bandits and later found them in crow's perch as a trader. Wonder how many more quests are yet to be discovered.
You won't fail the solduer statuette quest.
After the battle of kaer morhen you will get it again

There is also a whole branch of hidden quests of the Drumond clan, available only if you fulfill the order for the ghost of Eldberg BEFORE the berserk attack during the election of the king in Caer Trolde.
10 - went through the quest with the portrait of Geralt myself, of course;
9 - found the ring in the stream on a tip from the Internet;
8 - went through Geralt's stay in prison on a tip from the Internet;
7 - found a sleeping vampire by a hint from RUclips;
6 - found a map with a cross on Skellig myself in the first playthrough;
5 - found a fighting girl in Ochsenfurt on instructions from the Internet;
4 - studied the fate of the patient of Tomira myself;
3 - statuettes of a soldier and a sorcerer, of course, in most playthroughs I cast spells;
2 - found the quest with the dog myself;
1 - found the quest "Flesh for sale" myself, it can only be completed before the start of Lambert's quest in Novigrad.
My most memorable side quest is the cockney bloke trying to teach trolls how to swear. I was just travelling by on Roach and heard the dialogue and had to check it out. Glad i did 😂
Playing this game for the first time and had clocked a good three weeks of gaming. Then saw I was only 4% completed. It's brilliant. I'm only playing it because of one of Scott's other videos
The dog actually has a name(forgot what it is btw). If you read notes in the notice board, there is a chance you'll find a note that his owner is looking for him. Where a person is looking for his dog that joined a pack of wild dogs during a chaos caused by the war.
I never met the dog and had been scratching my head to find the key for that particular lock, I gave up thinking it's probably something I'll find along the way or perhaps was a glitch... oh well....
Played through the game multiple times FOUND SOMETHING NEW EVERY TIME
More reasons why this game has such a high replay value.

Liked! I did know about all of them except No.1, but I didn’t know the specific requirements of any of them. I’d just randomly come across them during my many hours of Witcher play. Yes, despite Cyberpunk 2077 being finally released and (mostly) fixed, I still regularly play The Witcher 3. This game is just amazing….I just got to the isle of mists and then I’m doing the dlcs and will definitely replay and attempt to complete all the quests…guess I’ll have to look up the hidden ones

I had never played a witcher game until The Witcher 3 a few weeks ago. I love the game, there is definitely a lot to do, however the main storyline felt so small compared to everything else in the game. Cyberpunk was...yeah, hopefully CDPR can make an amazing comeback with The Witcher 4.
Didn’t know about a few of these and I’ve beaten the game over 10 times. I’m more obsessed with the combat builds though. I think the games combat mechanics are underrated and looked over because of all the content.

witcher 3 has so many things you can miss or never find out it's untrue. 300+ hours so far on first playthrough with both dlcs im at lvl 51 and finally got all my spaces unlocked in the character thing with the extra slots. It uses up something like 24 points so its hard to not be tempted to give it a miss.
Found and completed 3 of these on my first playthrough. Haven't played Blood & Wine yet though.
I was able to find every one of them on my own except for "X marks the spot". So proud of myself

People miss it Couse once they hit skellige they wanna quit for a while then they return but forgot everything so the restart and cycle starts again the more u play the less u go tr unbeaten path so skellige if u don't think it's fun or worth it u don't do it Couse been going for 60 h+ already

Some of these just evil Couse they give u easy quests and then u go too higher lvl places u don't even know u missed this gold but my rule if u can do it if u get do it and always search for the qeust if it's part of bigger line

Really getting into this game now. Played it couple times over the years but. Didn't get into it until now. At the time it came out I was big into fallout 4. I enjoyed fallout 4, but wished I put more effort into this one too.
I missed 3 of these and I have at least 300 hours in this game. Pretty insane
No way.. I almost triggered that hidden archaeologist quest while chasing the guy that tried to rob Zolton of his gwent card profits. I followed him into the sewers and there was a series of walls that could be blown open with Aard and the last wall I opened led into a cave and I left it to chase the guy because I didn’t want to lose him. I’m gonna have a hell of a time finding that spot again..
Did all these except 8 on my first (and current) play through. I haven't even gone to the isle of mist yet lol. At the moment I'm level 50 and finishing blood and wine. 240 hours played.
I'm looking forward to playing this remastered for the PS5! I can't wait to see how games play and what they look like on the next gen console.

Witcher is still awesome in 2021 and yes I've seen everything as I explored every question mark in all dlcs and finished the game on death march many times
7:10 this quest is not failed by Isle of mist. If durin final preparations you have tris in novigrad you can complete it then

I went back to the herbalist hut much later in the game and I than had to rescue her, because some soldiers were trying to burn her on a stake.
