    I'm a long time subscriber. I really like this riff. Its so hard to learn to give it space! You nailed it. I like it slowed down a little. Keep up the good work!

    I was messing around with that first riff when suddenly it morphed into the Green River intro🤓. That’s the beauty right? It can take you in all sorts of directions!

    Really cool riff..may I ask You, on which string You do that "Klick" in between?
    For me the easiest way is the first string, the high e-string...but I guess You do it on another string, don't You?

    • @BluesGuitarInstitute
      @BluesGuitarInstitute  Год назад +1

      Hey JC, I"m doing that click on the 3rd string.

      @@BluesGuitarInstitute Thx Sir, may I bore You with a last question? Do You do that "Klick" by palm muting? I can finally play that riff a little, but got problems with that "Klick", but I find it very important, it spices up that riff a lot...
      Btw. thank You for all Your work, since years I learned so much from You, You learned me how to play that DeltaBlues, acoustic, electric and fingerstyle...
      All the best and Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭

      @@JC-tv5zx It's an upstroke on the third string and the ticket to getting this is with the fretting hand. make sure that you're fingers (doesn't matter which) are laying over the strings, at least the 3rd but not pushing down. that will give you a little scratching sound. Love that you're digging into the details and thanks for the kind words! happy to have you following along, JC. Cheers from the other side of the pond! John

      @@BluesGuitarInstitute Thx a lot...I tried with palm muting but it was too difficult for my abilities. You know I did that "Klick" with an upstroke on the high e-string without muting, it is better than nothing for the rythm, but I was not happy with it, I want it to sound like Your playing, so I will change it now...I hope You will continue Your great work for a few years, I can not get enough of these cool mostly unplugged rural Blues, the most of the songs in my repertoire are from Your lessons, I love it!greetings
