That is exactly what I am. That little lick at 3:25, that was E on BstF5 Eb on Gst8F (w/little bend and slide down) C on Gst5F and E on Dst7F ? I know you are in A blues scale (naturally) because of Eb (b5).
GREAT TIPS ! Own electrics , never (almost) play them. Been trying for 40+ years . Gonna pull out the electric and tuck away the acoustic for the next jam . Thank you .
Eddie,,,Eddie,, wow,, tell Charlie you guys are super this is what I been after just small licks like this a bunch of them not all blues but,,you know,,,yeah , thanks !! I like that , I been needing to understand myself playing and bringing out my emotion on guitar. Good grief ,, it's so wild !!!!
Back again , I just needed to learn or ,yeah learn how to bring out my emotions on guitar, like if you will Mr.Heifield who does enter sandman ,, that song hits me like a rock!! Love it. If I can play like that, I have the music in me, injust needed to learn how to bring it out, for freaking years it's been bottled up!!!
Very interesting lesson. Yes I enjoy the guitar lesson that you present. I see the way you talk to people very convincing and you have the most essential part to reach the young people. Keep an eye for political carreer. Cheers from Indonesia Eddie.
Fun fact: if you listen Jimmy Page’s live version of “Rock n Roll”, he uses the same idea for the stabs -except inverts the 3rd/7th. So C# (8th fret on G) and G (10th fret on B) to start. That’s how I learned “the trick” 👍

Jimmy Page does that playing Rock & Roll live on the Song Remains the Same. adds it to the main riff.
As they say; Rests are just as important as notes....space is grace!!!!
Excellent hack; excellent teacher. Keeps it simple for us simple novices. Thanks!
Halfway through the video I subscribed. That’s what’s called added value. Simple trick easy to learn and elevates your playing. Wonderful. Thank you.
Thanks for subbing :)
You should buy the whole subscription to GMM… I joined 3 years ago and can’t believe how far I have come!
