So .... once the installed office directory properties showed "Size" and "Size on disk" to be 1.75 GB, the command line became active again so I typed in "Path name">setup /configure configuration.xml and it successfully installed Visio! Visio has strangely not asked me for a Product key yet?

If you want to genuine activation then you need to purchase a key from Microsoft site or reseller
