Thank you Carson, I followed your instructions and I was able to install Visio Volume edition. As I listened I noticed you mentioned VMWare. I have had someone setup VMWare on my server but he is longer in town and am stuck. How do I access the virtual machine? Can I connect a keyboard and monitor to the server? I would appreciate your help.
I am getting an error after running the final download command. Error code: 30015-2008(5) "Is your internet working? Do you have enough free space on your main hard drive? Please try installing again after you've checked the above." Edit: I gave up on this and was using Visio on my friend's laptop. However after 2 days, I checked for updates on my PC to get any Windows updates and there were quite a few Office 2016 and Office 2010 updates. I do not have Office 2010, but I simply downloaded and installed all of them and restarted my PC. Then I went and did the setup download command again in the cmd and viola! It worked! I managed to install a Visio 2016 product. Thank you for your guide. Now idk if these two things were related, but that's how it happened with me.
To install Project 2019 do I just follow the same steps but this time create a "Project" folder rename the visio.xml to project.xml and then edit it with the Project PID and Key? Also do I run the same commands for the Visio install and just change it from "setup.exe /download visio.xml" to "setup.exe /download project.xml"?
Weirdly, I tried this on two of my laptops, both of which are using my Office 365 subscription. On one it worked a treat, on the other it installed but states the product activation failed, use a different PIDKEY??

Do you know if we need to change the PIDkey to the license serial number we had previously purchased or should the provided key work for every install?
