@@ibanez856I don’t think he really cares about the politics of music that’s why and will wait years to release a project as he’s probably more concerned with quality rather than flooding us with a large quantity of mediocre music… he seems like he’s very content and blessed with what he has. He’s always seemed like a popular introvert to me… everyone loves him but he’d rather just stick to himself and his family and small circle of friends.
Fairly epic! I think Jimi would be happy too cause he was into pushing the boundaries & expanding the mind/other peoples minds particularly through music & this's an emotive version. Nice work
Anyone who knows. Knows Ed is a OG when it comes to grime. He grew to popularity with the grime Scene. Hes appreciated and respected more by the grime artists then he is by artists in his own Genre. He done this track justice absolute master piece 👌

Bob Dylan was an artist. I'd like to think that he would be happy to see his work stand the test of time, and 40 years after it has been released, other artists are finding inspiration and using it to create even more art. A lot of artists have covered this song; many their own artistic representations of the message and what they take from it. This is no different and I applaud both ed and devlin for doing something new with my favourite song of all time.
When Bob Dylan heard Hendrix version he said this song belongs to Jimmy

The only reason people are mad is because the original song is such a classic, but this cover is not bad, not at all....and Stop saying they ruined the song, the original still exists. Its not like they uploaded this version and the original got wiped out from history.

even in 2019 this is still top class.
I grew up with Bob Dylan's original song, then Jimi Hendrix's version with the riff everyone recognises today.. and still like this song! The video is really well done too, don't know why people have to slam everything just because they sampled someone else's song. Artists LIKE it when other artists choose to use some of their work & expand on it, it's a compliment!
It simply showed two criminals after a bank job before disappearing. Ed and Devlin. Devlin was saying goodbye to his family whilst Ed waited in a getaway car, Devlin gave his family some possesions and escaped before SWAT got into the house. The girl in the car clearly didn't grass despite the officer's demands. Just when Devlin thought they'd gotten away, Ed could no longer hide his injury from Devlin. When Ed died, Devlin was destroyed as he lost his partner and Ed clearly hadn't told him about his injury. The grey cloud is pathetic fallacy, it symbolises the bleak ending.

Elite Playgrounds You say that, but if you pause at 4:07 you can see that the blood is in a vertical stab-like formation. So based on the observation that the blood is in a vertical rectangular formation, and obviously everything tends to move toward the ground, I would say he's probably been stabbed.
Also a gunshot wound if it went straight into him (like perpendicular to him I mean) would leave a long circular stain (in theory), well, more of a vertical ellipse really.
Realistically though no one can truthfully know that he's been stabbed, shot or scraped. It's the Schrodinger's cat paradox I suppose.
Though that being said I've made another observation.. There does seem to be a bullet-like hole in Ed's T-shirt, so perhaps it is supposed to be a bullet wound. Although that could just be a small pool of blood, reflecting light towards the camera?
