    Picking the 12 best players is a farce because their history has proven they have chosen rookies who never played a pro game in the past. On top of that, explain how any injured player can be rated one of the top 12 this year, when they haven’t played a single game? Jealousy is the reason Clark wasn’t picked, not the nonsense “12 best” argument.

She can’t save an entire league on her own when they treat her the way they do but she’ll continue to prove them wrong and that’s what drives them crazy the most. The more they hate her the more she gets famous and the less famous the wnba gets.

And women like Turasi,with 20yrs in the league,should be supporting Clark, but all she does is destroying Catlin Clark !! Clark hasn't said once she's racist or hateful of anybody in the wnba!! But the reporters and the black players are going public saying that she is!!! Even her coach knows the black players on her team is not playing hard with CC. They don't pass her the ball. That is why at all costs, they will focus on shutting her down. What we do know is that she is better than Taurasi at age 42 and she is playing which is more than you can say for an injured guard (the 3rd one from the Aces) who has not played a game this year. What a joke.

    Maybe race plays a factor, but I believe pure unadulterated jealousy is the main motivator with the situation surround Caitlin Clark. Those running the WNBA and some of it's players simply cannot stand it. They cannot move their egos aside and accept the fact that she is the IT FACTOR and responsible for the leagues current excitement and they aren't. No woman before her and currently has done or is creating this sort of buzz and they HATE IT. But they are experimenting and they really want to see. What would the WNBA look like right now without her? What if we bench her or take her minutes away...? Make her look bad on the court and don't allow her to ball out like she did in college. Foul her and assault her each game. Discredit her accomplishments. Keep her off the global stage. Have every sports channel create the "illusion of truth" by continuing to repeat over and over that she's overrated, a rookie who has a lot to learn, not ready, not top 12, undeserving, needs to rest and that she will have many other opportunities. Will this stop the momentum or with Clark excluded, will this newfound excitement for the WNBA still exist? The crazies really want to know. I truly feel if they could get rid of her they would. Those running the show haven't cared about this business for 30 years. They've mismanaged it then and still continue too. What makes you think they'd all of the sudden become great managers of it now?

    • @Beau_Toxx
      @Beau_Toxx 10 дней назад

      I also believe it was jealousy in the beginning then the Woke race hustlers came in and turned it into their Woke racial rant accusing Clark of being a racist if she doesn't carry the flag of Woke and LGBTQ. Now it gets ugly with prifessiobal race hustlers involved. Retoric like, Clark is a white privileged racist from Iowa, bringing in white racist fans into our league and violating equal justice for all values. Clark must go B.S.

I'm 70 years old I coach Division One sports my entire life I know a thing or two. I noticed how she said she was selected as a rookie because I won three national championships. Not WE but I. That tells me all I need to know about Diane tarasi and why she wouldn't think of taking a youngster under her wing and show her the ropes. I never watched women's basketball when I watched this year's final four because of Caitlin Clark I live in Nebraska I've never watched a WNBA game in my life but now I'm watching Caitlin and I can't wait to see when she shoves it in their face. Clarks stats this year are actually better than terrasse's. Then there's veteran Gray who hasn't played basketball since last October not really how ready is she gonna be if she even plays at all. When is it time to bring in the future and get a 42 year old woman off the team or just take her as an advisor or a manager or a coach. Well she wouldn't wanna do that because she's gonna wanna come home and say I won another gold medal.

    So heres some facts on the picks. Woman's USA is saying it's mostly because Clark missed the April 2 day practice due to her college schedule. Well let's see where she'd fit in stat wise. Chelsea Grey hasn't played all season went to the practice didn't practice and we don't know if she'll actually play or be on limited minutes. Britney Griner has only played one game this season. Clark is ranked 13th in total stats while Diana Taurasi is ranked 15th and Clark is beating her in a every stat. Ppg, asst, rebs, blocks, stls, and I'll even include turnovers cause I don't want someone saying I'm just picking the good stats.
    So now tell me the real reason or a different reason. Cause there have been other rookies on the USA women's team in the past so you can toss that one out

    Never been interested in women’s basketball until watching Iowa the past couple of years. That joke, the WNBA, has been around, losing money, for around 30 years is it? For the first time I was developing a little interest in that league because of one player only. I’ve seen too much outrageous abuse of her already and the league doesn’t seem to have the brains to handle it. My flicker of interest is already gone because of the jealous, idiot players and even dumber league leaders. Also, nice going Dawn Staley, no interest in the Olympics either.

    We should have pulled Taurasi, Gray, and Griner, substituting Clark, Reese and Brink. We could of has three young attractive up comers who would have brought attention to the USA team and the WNBA.

    It seems simple to me. Men’s sports preach team. We don’t all share the same beliefs, cultures etc. But, we’re conditioned to compete together to accomplish the goal. Women WNBA & PWHL seem to have difficulty understanding the team concept. It’s about them. Women excel in individual sports.

    Her teammates are spineless wimps as well... with Mitchell, Caitlins own teammate refusing to pass to Caitlin when shes open to NONE of her team sticking up in defending Caitlin while the rest of the leauge continues to beat her up every single game is pathetic.

    Wrong, the league is potentially negotiating a TV deal worth 230 million, along with everything else, the league could be independent from the NBA for the first time. Fire all those jealous jerks, let them go wait on tables. Those managing the USA team should be replaced. She is the worlds biggest star right now. These people are idiots. Without her the WNBA goes down the tubes, without the NBA they are bankrupt! How stupid. I for one will be boycotting the Summer Olympics!

    • @vanhattfield8292
      @vanhattfield8292 10 дней назад

      It is not the WNBA negotiating the deal, it is the NBA, but since the NBA is the majority owner of the WNBA, with 60% ownership, it makes sense. What the NBA is doing is combining the leagues in the negotiations which is expected to increase broadcast revenue from the $2.7 billion that the NBA currently receives on its own to nearly $7 billion in combined revenue if the new deal goes through. The NBA would receive approximately 60% of the WNBA's revenue generated from this deal, and the remaining 40% would go directly to the WNBA league. Something else to add is that for this current season, the league has received approximately $75 million from sponsors, such as Nike, which is expected to go up even more with increased ticket sales and TV viewers.

    Tell me why two players, Gray and Griner, having played a whopping total of ONE game between them this year, deserve it more. Furthermore, Griner hates her own country. Sorry, on merit, based on the 12-15 games played this year, CC has a better claim. In her few games this year, she’s averaging better numbers than Gray over her career.

    The WNBA isn't losing $50 million as being posted on many channels, at least not at the moment, that info comes from an unsubstantiated story posted by the Washington Post citing two anonymous sources alleged to be from the WNBA and included no financial information at all, which it couldn't, since the 2023-24 season is ongoing and revenue and expenses can't be determined for this season until it is complete. Looking at last season, before Caitlin was in the league, the WNBA generated $200 million in revenue which was an increase of over 300% over the previous season on which they generated only $60 million. The revenue generated from the 2023-24 season is expected too be much, much higher. That does not include the $15 million that was contributed by the NBA, which doesn't go to the teams or pay player salaries, but goes to operational costs of the league, which the NBA is the majority owner, owning 60% of the league, which is seldom included in stories about the contributions it makes to the WNBA..
