Good on the people who have had a legitimate negative experience from other streamers coming out but there will be alot more than the actual victims who hop on this opportunity because people want money they want fame they want clout its human nature to be opportunistic. My honest opinion if you disagree bring a counter argument to it and not just Believe all women nonsense.

i hope the whole wow esports crap gets washed out with this. i kind of get pvp esports but turning raiding and dungeons into a speed run competition is not good for an rpg.
I disagree. Perfectly balanced pvp would kill that rpg factor much more. I am not interested much in wow esport in general tho. I just think that pve could be actually better way to go.
I was right with you up until you start talking about sponsors removing themselves from, or lowering payouts to, the ENTIRE INDUSTRY. That makes no sense at all. Sponsoring and advertising with e-sports streamers and gamers has been a thing long before method and will continue to be a thing because it is profitable to do so. It's target advertising, advertising with e-sports streamers and gamers puts your e-sports and game related product directly in front of the EXACT target audience you want to see the product. Thinking because there was one bad egg in that industry would kill that upside is like thinking if one bad egg appeared in, say, the NFL then all NFL advertising and sponsorships would suffer. Guess what, this happens multiple times every season. Guess what, the overall sponsorship and advertising spending doesn't change in any noticeable way. The bad actor loses sponsorship, and some other guy gets it. Same thing will happen here. Why? Simple, because these companies budget their advertising money to certain industries. If Method loses 1 million dollars in sponsorship from Corsair then Corsair now has a million dollars in the budget to sponsor someone else, or maybe 2 others.
I dont think he's referring as much to the established brands that mass sponsor i.e. Corsair, MSI, and general gaming brands but to the outside brands. Like Coca-Cola, Red Bull, and other brands that aren't well established in the gaming industry. Say you're Pizza Hut and you want to sponsor an esports team and while looking at what teams to sponsor Method blows up. A well established big name esports organization goes under due to the allegations of misconduct. It's enough for them to pull that money out and put it elsewhere. Another way of looking at this is likening an CS:GO major to the Super Bowl. Every one has their Super Bowl adds ready but what happens if say the Cowboys go the way of Method (hypothetically) and all of a sudden no one wants to run their adds on a Super Bowl with that kind of an issue going on. So for gaming this really does do that much damage. It scares off a lot of investors and potentially even existing ones
Whoa, DoTA exploded recently with sexual allegations from a few casters. And now WoW? Damn... Have a feeling that maybe more and more news will come out impacting other streamers/creators/etc.
Its the very nature of the industry Lets be honest the majority of players/viewers are male and females are the minority. Its also harder for women to get into decent positions in the industry this is open to abuse by the people in power, but the main issue is that a lot of these high-end players are trusted by there fans and it allows for a lot of abuse of power
An ILLUSION will be, so large, so vast it will escape Their PERCEPTION. Those who see it will be thought of as insane. We will behave as if we are not connected to keep the illusion alive !!! Time to wake up people......DRDISS
honestly.. this whole video could just be uh umm decision krangled for 30 minutes. watch the last 3 and a half minutes? maybe? thank for the info anyways? you showed up on my video feed why?
To be honest I never really liked Method: they reduced most of wow's races to processions and it was only interesting watching when they lost (eg with wow classic world-first). They behaved like a corporation, and otherwise had no identity other than stereotypical nerds. That's NOT a good look. What will work for e-sports and gaming as they attempt to gain market share is to promote random guys who fluke their way into a million dollar win, as with Fortnite. Method's existence was costing everyone else money,. it is good they are dying.
It could have been so simple. Twitch as a provider offering a streaming platform and others who offer their time to stream. But of course a whole industry of leaches (of which mr Nash is part ) has been woven around this simple exchange of resources. And when you bring leaches in the game, others will always suffer.
you don't need 33 minutes to explain this shit. The reason it's over is because IT"S FRAUD. PERIOD. Thats it. People have no more content to put now adays. Creativity is over.

I agree with you but also dont just instantly ignore all the accusations too you have to take it seriously.
Situation is FUBAR
Absolutely love your content Devin
When children who have never had any real responsibility in anything in their entire life are given vast sums of money to run a real world business....
BillyMaysHere "given money to run a real world business" they made money off of a company they founded
Sco literally made method from nothing, wtf are you talking about...
Here because of the Weedfand joke on the stream. 🙂
Good video chief👍
i hope the whole wow esports crap gets washed out with this. i kind of get pvp esports but turning raiding and dungeons into a speed run competition is not good for an rpg.
I appreciate this take.
I disagree. Perfectly balanced pvp would kill that rpg factor much more. I am not interested much in wow esport in general tho. I just think that pve could be actually better way to go.
Why is it not good? Wierd thing to say
Yo that quarantine hair
Dr.Disrespect waiting room.
Esports talk just covered it but I’m still here
Noti squad we out here
Whoa, DoTA exploded recently with sexual allegations from a few casters.
Ooh that sweet ending
Raistlin Vision!!! Great reference.
An ILLUSION will be, so large, so vast it will escape Their PERCEPTION. Those who see it will be thought of as insane. We will behave as if we are not connected to keep the illusion alive !!! Time to wake up people......DRDISS
Is this further compounded by the fact that wow esports is a declining niche?
Someone still playing as methodjosh at hearthstone
I remember two days ago when Patrck Static left OPG, as a partnered creator
it should be "regardless" instead of "irregardless" which is not even an actual word
honestly.. this whole video could just be uh umm decision krangled for 30 minutes. watch the last 3 and a half minutes? maybe? thank for the info anyways? you showed up on my video feed why?
they lost all their sponsors
Damn got notified for the first time lmao
same lol
Devin "crangled" Nash
To be honest I never really liked Method: they reduced most of wow's races to processions and it was only interesting watching when they lost (eg with wow classic world-first). They behaved like a corporation, and otherwise had no identity other than stereotypical nerds. That's NOT a good look. What will work for e-sports and gaming as they attempt to gain market share is to promote random guys who fluke their way into a million dollar win, as with Fortnite. Method's existence was costing everyone else money,. it is good they are dying.
Midwinter brought alot to the table against them, just couldn't topple that EU talent pool
This guy is really good at his job
It could have been so simple. Twitch as a provider offering a streaming platform and others who offer their time to stream. But of course a whole industry of leaches (of which mr Nash is part ) has been woven around this simple exchange of resources. And when you bring leaches in the game, others will always suffer.
wot?
you don't need 33 minutes to explain this shit. The reason it's over is because IT"S FRAUD. PERIOD. Thats it. People have no more content to put now adays. Creativity is over.
im curious about people that "become" predator because they are on some kind of power trip
esfand on thumbnail rofl
So I had to google it... and I hate that it is in fact a word... but I hate anyway... stop saying irregardless.
24:05 - "there's not really a huge benefit to these women coming out with these allegations". There's not really a huge benefit to slipping another quarter in the slot machine, and yet Vegas is still going strong.
love the krangled meme
Proxtron - best part about it is that you don’t need to be aware of the meme to get the general idea the word tries to communicate
"Uhh, Um"
Shoutout to the PoE redditors who get the "Krangled" reference
You don't need to touch reddit to know what "krangled" is if you're a PoE player. Krangled's part of our culture now :D
Who else is here from ludwigs stream?
i google "the end of method" and it said this was upload 37min ago... that timing yo... haha
You’re trying very hard to articulate and sound important while you stumble around on everything. who is this guy?
Check wowprogress, everyone left method
