- Freelancer: HD Edition is a mod that aims to improve every aspect of the game Freelancer while keeping the look and feel as close to vanilla as possible.
This time I have done some commentary if you like my content remember to like and sub so you know when the next ep comes out..

Gawd I still remember that flight from Liberty space... I had worked so hard to build up a solid reputation with all the Liberty agencies. The LSF, Liberty Navy, and Liberty Police. And suddenly all that work and reputation was just gone... And finally making it to Leeds and Tobias was such a relief. This was really such an amazing game. It really captured the atmosphere of fleeing from the authorities and being on the run.
The first Battle with the Rheinland ships.. unforgetable
I’m enjoying the play through. I haven’t played this in a long time but had a lot of hours in it. It’s just a really good looking game especially for the time. The story keeps you locked in. The combat and gameplay not too complex. Will definitely check the free link.
The updated graphics make it look like Kotor 1 & 2. Love it. Enjoying watching your playthrough!
Ah nostalgia. Loved this game back in the day
I always found it useful to buy a different type of shield when getting into a new ship, the typical enemies of the region where you buy the ship always seem to have the right weapon type to slice through the default shields
55:59 watching how the StunPulse tears the shields apart is a treat 😮🎉

I loved that console.
I remember getting the timing down to the point I could cruise drive manually toward a trade lane/gate, and hit the dock hotkey at the exact point to insta-dock. It was VERY useful when everything wanted to kill you. 8:35 this line is burned into my brain. Not sure where it was used promotionally, but I know I heard that line a BUNCH.

2:06 - this is what the screens for the Order pilots from the very beginning of the game also looked like.
27:20 - this is called a 'subtle hint' to change your ship
33:30 - I was wondering if you were going to look at the Cavalier light fighter as well to compare
I would of but I like the bounty hunter ships because they sound like they have a V8 in them...

There's a hotkey to make countermeasures deploy automatically. And did you know there's a cockpit perspective?
yeah Ctrl+V and I think the hot key is C
It's about 15 years since I played this classic. Wish I could play it again but my laptop has no DVD drive and there doesn't seem to be any way to buy it online...

@@Wonderboy1990 the link in the description links to a mod, a mod that requires the base game to be installed, or am i missing something? It asks for the freelancer install directory and refuses to continue if freelancer isnt found...
