I would try downloading another version in the meantime. You can also go to linerider.com to play the other version called LRJS. It's just as good and will have exactly the same physics as LRA.
That may mean you downloaded the wrong file. If you're having trouble with LR:A, then a fine substitution is to use Linerider.com to play in your browser. It's a slightly different version but it is capable of doing anything I demonstrate in these videos.

So I try to make a kramual for over 2 hours, and then I watch this video for about 5 minutes and I can make kramuals

it sais i cant get line rider advanced on mac, what did you use to download it
I'm pretty sure you have to go through something called Mono to play it. I think there are instructions on reddit.com/r/linerider.
