It is definitely much much easier, I also come from those times. And yes it has the same physics. Converting old .sol files to the new track file types can sometimes cause corruptions though.
This may sound silly but I would make sure you have the line placed in the right direction. It needs to be pointed away from the contact point you want to pull. It also must be drawn so that the contact point isn't going backwards through the line as it is supposed to, but rather pulling him in a direction he isn't already traveling in. Hopefully that helped. Sometimes, if you are making a fling, it'll just stop working, and my suggestion to you would be to make it sharper. This will allow the contact points to be pulled harder instead of sort of slowly slipping off.
In this version, the line turns from black and blue to just blue (or red if it's a red line) when it is hit. It is called a hit test and it helps get rid of lines that aren't affecting any contact points and may just get in the way later.
@@itsappl Also how do you keep good track of the sled when he falls off of it because I want to do that thing where you make the sled come back to him at the end of the track but I couldn't figure it out :/
@@AustinAndGamerz That can definitely be tricky. I usually zoom out really far to find it again but there isnt a super easy way to do it as far as I am aware.
@@itsappl Yeah. Also I have tried to do a kramual while going at 115 ppf and I have tried so many different movements and put the hand down so it'd be easier yet I still couldn't manage to do it. Do you know a way to do it better idk. I am trying to do a kramual so I can slow down the rider and make him go through a course.
what settings do you got on for the program? i got the line rider advanced beta 0.3 rc right now and i can't do the option you got when you place lines over bosh he moves to the lines line you are doing in the editing the lines.
I use 0.2 because of some bugs in the newest version. I noticed that bug in my brothers computer as well. I would suggest dowloading 0.2 or even 0.1. They should work.
The only thing I can think of being the problem is it's not in play mode. Did you pause the track and place the lines while it was paused? When it is stopped, it will not do the live line editing.

Why cant I do gravity Wells anywhere I tried to make a like flying thing with them but then it stopped pulling the character guy

i downloaded 2.0 but i still can't get gravity wells to work.
