And it features pretty much anything the game features - some characters, rich environment, there are some requisites that the characters can interact with, but the one important thing is missing. There's no player character, people can't interact with it, only watch it. That's another extreme. You took it from the wrong end. Game doesn't have to have a goal. Game has to entertain you in such way that it is actually your action that makes the thing move forward, therefore it requires your interaction to get you entertained, not just watch it. But in order to entertain you, it has to provide something for you to interact with. Line rider - you're just being there, only controlling where that character is going and where does he land. Nothing else. Minecraft doesn't have a real goal, you just play randomly, exploring the world, mining, fighting with monsters, it is pretty much a simulator of survival adventure. But it is fully functional game, because it has rich environment, dynamic interactive entities, and some mobile characters and NPCs to interact with. And you can do pretty much anything. And I could continue on and on and on, you get the point, right?

Rag doll is among my favorite. It may be short and simplistic, but it brought several techniques to the table to make it what it is, and used some that some never seen. He'll, some people are still trying to figure out how some of the techniques work and how to use them. On top off that, there aren't much line rider courses where the rider is "dead" and is going on a journey, with that caliber of skill no less. It was truly an innovative masterpiece.

wow very odd timing. Two nights ago while I was lying in bed I was thinking it must be close to 10 years now, but forgot to check when i woke up. It's been quite the ride hasn't it :). Hope things are going well.
Unfortunately things are pretty rough right now at least for me in relation to the community. As always though, working on some super exciting projects :)
used to play this game on my grandmas computer when i was 7.. i sucked and could barely do a loop. now i’m almost 15 and i’m great at kramuals and flings and stuff. but this takes me back to when i watched flag capper ideology and i loved it! i miss when there was a bigger lr community
something about line rider, like halo 1-3 and, and movie clip compilations, and amv's, and documentaries that end on a quote spoken by someone who was parted too soon, just touches my soul like the warm of a loving mother, and with the force of a brisk seasonal breeze.
Fortunately there are new versions of Line Rider on newer platforms! Linerider.com for example is programmed in JavaScript :) Even on a personal level, I will probably still be making things with Line Rider in 2026, assuming nothing terrible happens to me haha

I may be done with administration for now, but I'm nowhere near done with the game, btw. I'm not on WRTL much anymore but feel free to follow me other places (links in the description above). I don't think the community is over - because the community need not be confined to WRTL.
