    49:00 dont go with such long process, its very simple for TIR the light must travel from denser to rarer and for this case refractive index of water is not more than that of the prism. Thats so simple, dont get confused.

      NO because when the light ray is passed from the second surface ie. AC then its passing through denser to rarer as prism R.I is more than water hence there are chances for TIR... so we need to check

      Bro we use sin ic=1/u in the condition of T.I.R.
      and in T.I.R light rays travel from denser to rarer medium.
      That's why we have used this formula here.
