A wonderful demo. So many techniques. I am going for a beach holiday next month, so the challenge for me is to try some of them out. Loved how you did the sky.

Smashing rocks technique using the flat brush as well as a card; my rocks always end up too curvy using the card! Love the sea colours in the foreground too. Lovely - thank you 👏😁

I really like the lime green. It makes the water look shallow there.

❤ Absolutely gorgeous, Karen! Thank you so much for breaking this down in to steps and explaining each process thoroughly, including colors used and brush sizing! You've given me some fantastic, fun ways to create texture. I'd never heard of Brusho before, but it looks really useful!

Thank you so much for this tutorial Karen. It is stunning and your explanations, tips and descriptions are so very useful to me as a beginner. I will watch and take notes and sketch a few times before giving it a go though. I have visited the IOW many times and would love to create my own interpretation. I love your videos thanks.

A lovely painting and great instructional video. It moves aling at a good pace wuth good explainations. So many painters use a tiny brush and wonder why it gets too tight.
