    Very nice! Was looking for a larger mesh and this works! Always Love your easy to follow directions, ESPECIALLY because you add the printed row below your demonstration for each row! Thank you! Your videos are the easiest to follow by far than any other instructions I have seen! Thank you again! 🤗💗🤗 🧶

    I'm trying to modify this pattern so the lace is more noticeable, as in the holes of the lace are bigger. So I'm trying it out by doing each stitch twice. I hope it works.

    • @allisonhodge4576
      @allisonhodge4576 2 года назад +1

      Actually you could try just using larger than necessary needles.. if the yarn calls for a size 4mm needle, and depending on how tight a knitter you are, go up to a 6.5mm and see if you like that?

      @@MigglesTheGidget Lol, actually my grandmother calls me an adventurous knitter because I am all the time adapting patterns and stitches to create what is in my head! I’m glad this helped you!! Using different size needles was like my first trick and I didn’t actually like the outcome until I started understanding how to knit lace and now I LOVE the look! I’m actually going to use this stitch in a heavier weight to create a boho long sleeve shirt for my best friend. So I know I’ll need to also play with needle size to make it look right! Happy Knitting❤️❤️

    I loved that you put a little glossary at the beginning and that you narrate everything, counting the stitches out loud instead of some stupid music, but I wish you used thick yarn and didn't cover your knitting with your fingers.
    I like to see what I'm supposed to do, and it sort of defeats the purpose. Next time, try placing your fingers a centimeter lower on the needles, or film it from a different angle?

    • @dwnstringer
      @dwnstringer 6 лет назад +1

      viridian why use thick wool when knitting lace! I can see perfectly well. There is always one awkward person 😒

      I believe this is a really usefull comment. 🤔 Telling what you love and what could be better. Using thick yarn with lace, requires thicker needles. With can be quite messy to handle 😅

    MY ONLY critique... is... PLEASE. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STOP SWALLOWING YOUR SPIT, OR WHATEVER IS IN YOUR MOUTH SO HARD AND LOUD. (2:02 & at 4:00) It sounds like your gulping down water and is REALLY REALLY REALLY annoying. I love, love your videos and the way you teach, but have thought of finding new one's simply because it's so distracting and gross.
