Clear expressions, a silky voice, a very pretty lace. This is fun even to learn. Thank you very much.
I have been knitting for over 40 years. Until now, the Arrowhead Lace Stitch has always alluded me. Thank you for your GREAT tutorials. I have watched several and, so far, have learned so much. Your instructions are easy to follow and (most importantly) I can count on them to be RIGHT. Thanks again!
I am so glad I found your channel. Thank you for all the time and care you put into your teaching here.
Thank you for this video. I have watched 3 or 4 videos on this stitch and they have made it look so complicated. Your video is very easy to follow
Beautiful stitch, can't wait to try it. And talk about multi-tasking! Simultaneously making a tutorial for all of us, and soothing the baby with the calming voice. And I think the baby is getting a blanket with this stitch?! If she/he knew!.
Your written instructions are so easy to follow. Thank you for helping a new lace knitter!

Thank you so much. I can only knit the two basic stitches, knit and a Pearl just in lines, but this tutorial was so beautifully explained with your lovely gentle accent, so easy to listen to and you teach at a slow pace so we can see exactly what you are doing. Thank you. Greeting from a London. I’m going to stay in the Countryside at the end of January and the Converted barn has a wood burner, so I will snuggle up and this will be my holiday (vacation) project. 😃
How wonderful! Walks outside, the snow and then come back to the nice wood burner. Ahhhhh...take lots of yarn!
JoannesWeb I will. Thank you.
I love this pattern. Will be my next project. :) You are very easy to follow.
Gracias! Took me a couple ot tries, but I finally got it. A couple more repeats and it should be cemented into my cranial library. Great video and well explained/taught!
Thank you soooooo soooo much for this tutorial. I have purchased some beautiful hand dyed yarn that I wanted to make a scarf with and I think this will be beautiful after seeing the yarn you suggested.
You girls are great I love your channel. Keep up the great work!!!!😊
Thank you for this excellent tutorial. Was going to use Solomon's knot (crochet) for a scarf, but I think this looks so much prettier and easy.

Thank you so much for your tutorials!!! I am a new knitter and have been looking for some pretty stitches for scarves that are easy. and I think this is exactly what I one use to make one. :0)
really very pretty....
Lovely ..thank you... also....appreciated the written notes at the end...
will try this now...... for the beautiful stitch...& for my mind-as you say!
Thank you for sharing your expertise!
I totally love your RUclips videos & so easy to follow. Just to add to your vocabulary repertoire, English patterns use the word "Slip" written "Sl", but we all know that slide and slip mean the same thing. I'm not making fun, but you said you didn't know the correct word when you were showing us the slide technique. Love your videos; keep them coming.
That's a very pretty stitch!!
k=stricken
k2tog= 2 Maschen rechts zusammenstricken
yo= Umschlag
Reihe 1.- 1 re *(Umschlag, 1 re, 1 re, psso) 2 Mal
1 re, (2 re zusammen, Umschlag) 2 Mal, 1 re*
Reihe 2.- Links.
Reihe 3.- 2 re * Umschlag, Folie 1, 1 re, psso
Yo, Folie 1, 2 re zusammen, psso
Yo, k2tog,
Reihe 4.- Links.

Muy hermoso modelo. Gracias por el video. 👍👍👍👍
Beautiful! Thanks! 😃
love it. i love the baby cooing,so sweet
Thank you so much! ❤
Adorei este ponto !
Silvia Clemente, I love babies! But this stitch requires a great deal of concentration and the baby in the background made it very difficult to concentrate! I sincerely wish I felt the same as the lady that commented that she loved the baby in the background! I believe you have other instructional videos which I will check out because other than the baby noise distraction I think you are an excellent teacher! Best wishes to you :)
thanks for demo great can you get your patterns
Such a lovely stich! Do you have any tutorials on how to do a decrease/increase with this type of stitch?
As with any other stitch, you need to follow the pattern of the stitch considering you will be losing on the sides, sometimes stitches and other times, yarn overs. Make a map with graph paper. Easier that way.
Thank you, God bless,
it is really a pretty stitch, thanks for teaching.
great cant find pattern instructions
just click on 'show more' below the video and you'll find it.
Very very nice
I really love that stitch, thank you for a great tutorial. Do I have to add a border when I use this stitch for a scarf? Doesn't it curl?
I didn't. What I did is knit 3 stitches at the edges. Knit them on both sides. (garter)
Thanku mam
Thank you very much 💞💞💞💞💞
Thank's your hand
magnifique 👍
New subscriber here... You had me at, "neuroplasticity" :-D
+Thank you for this tutorial Joannes web . I casted on 51 stitches an I'm having problems I end up with 49 stitches. I've started it several times now. Don't know how I lost those stitches
It usually happens when you don't knit the yarn overs.
thank you .sometimes my yo stick together an I don't see them.
رائع
Good
nice
Hi!! I found a doll's dress who has the bottom very look alike but the triangle/chevron is smaller...if i want to make your stitch smaller...how many rows do i have to make? Thanks.
You do the same amount of rows but use thinner yarn and needles. There is also the Fishtail's Lace
@@JoannesWeb thank you for your answer 😇
Hi! I was wondering how you bind off this scarf? Do you just bind it of normally?
Yes, you bind off on the right side, normally.
Thank You!
Ben bu modeli baştan gösterebilirmisiniz lütfen
I love your video ❤ and the baby sounds! What yarn/brand did you use?
I believe it was Carons Simply Soft. The sounds of my grandson.
I would be interested in learning how to knit this stitch in the round.
When you knit in the round, you have the repeat stitches and rows but the even number rows, (which are done knitting on the wrong side), will be done on the right side. Therefore, rows #2,4 are done by knitting (not purling). And that's it!
I would like to know if you have a hat pattern in this stitch because I would like a hat and scarf in the same design?
I don't with this stitch, but you could follow any pattern and change the stitch. ruclips.net/video/ttrNprMYKtI/видео.html
👍👍👍
Just wondering about sl 1 - you slip it as to purl and in another video you slip as to knit. Reasoning?
Every stitch is different.
At row 3 you made a yarn over before knitting the last 2 stitches ?
Yes, you do. ruclips.net/video/VPNWZ6Mz6xI/видео.html
This is very pretty! Are you passing the yarn over across one or two stitches?
Sometimes over 1, sometimes over 2. Please see the instructions on "SHOW MORE" under the video. Thanks!
Supper
Good morning I do like this pattern but i never knit lace , can i do this pattern with any kind of yarn?
Hi mam .please I bought a set of crochet needles.so guide me .price please. From pakistan .
Hello! I am not sure what you are asking me. A good way to know the price is to go to amazon or any international site, where you can compare. If you have them, please see the basic crochet stitches. ruclips.net/video/y9kATH63pDo/видео.html
How do you bind off once done?
On row 4, bind off as purl.
Hi, I love this pattern but do I get the written pattern?
Under the video, please click on "show more"
Gracias
I did a google translation look up for this, but I cannot answer it for her. She states: "I have put on this stitch and I have a problem and it is that in the third round I am missing a point. With the first two I get twelve points and should leave eleven. The previous laps I get the points well. Thank you"
Aquí están las direcciones: Cast en un múltiplo de 10 + 1; Fila 1: K1 * (YO, Sl-1, K1, PSSO) 2 veces, K1, (K2tog, YO) 2 veces, K1 *; Fila 2: Purl a través de la fila hasta el final; Fila 3: K2 * YO, Sl-1, K1, PSSO, YO, Sl-1, K2tog, PSSO, YO, K2tog, YO, K3 --- (al final de esta fila, tejer sólo 2); Fila 4: Purl hasta el final.
How would you do this stitch in the round
Instead of purling on rounds 2 and 4, you knit.
hi if possible do you have the written instructions please x
They are at the bottom of the video. At "SHOW MORE" Please click there.
+JoannesWeb thanks x sorry I should have checked lol 😊
Great instruction! Love it.
Does that baby need his diaper changed? 😩
Attention! He's 4 now
Dear lady i wish you can be my grandmother, not only because you can teach me about good knitting but because your point of view about brain plasticity
