Yeah man, they really do have beautiful body lines when you take the time to study and admire them. When they are lower down with an aggressive stance and the right wheel/tire setup they look amazing! I fell in love with the SN95 during the 1995 World Challenge watching Steve Saleen, Bob Bondurant and Tim "the tool man" Allen race the modified S351 model Saleen cars! Those where some of the most beautiful examples of SN95 models. I have a few videos of these cars on my other "Mustang Town Vintage" RUclips channel. ruclips.net/video/Oc9ywrhqNC8/видео.html and when I really fell in love with these cars was back in 1997 when I recorded the Lime Rock race from World Challenge and over and over through the years watched Lou Gigliotta's black/white Saleen Mustang (which even looked better than the '95 Speedlab Saleens. That was maybe the best looking SN95 model I have ever seen to date, you can see that one too in this video. ruclips.net/video/E56iAybvgD4/видео.html sorry for the video/audio quality, I recorded it from satellite on VHS tape back in 1997 lol. Some day I would love to build a tribute car just like Lou's old Saleen.
nedaCFilms / Mustang-Town You are right, they look amazing lowered (well, as do all mustangs) with the right tire/wheel combo. I fell in love with the Sn95 after I bought a '95 Cobra. So, I had to buy a '96 GT as a daily driver since the '95 only has 42,000 on it and I live Ohio! Both are lowered, Cobra R wheels. They may not be fast by today's standards but they are great fun to drive.
I drove a 98 z28 Camaro with full bolt ons making well over 300 at the tires for about 3 years. Not really a mustang guy at all, however I've always liked the SN95's particularly the 94-95 models. Long story short, sold the f body and got myself into a 68000 mile 95 GT with bolt ons. It's way slower compared to my f body , but the low end torque off the line gives it quite a jump. I'm having a Blast with it so far and can't wait to add more power. And the sound of a 5.0 through an x pipe and magnaflows..no ls1 can touch that glorious tone!
I think the SN95 models with Eibach Sportline springs are the best looking cars out there, those Sportline springs gives them the perfect road racing rake. You should drop a Ford Racing crate motor down in it like the 340hp 302X or better yet, a new DOHC 5.0 Coyote motor. You would undoubtedly have the most badass Mustang around, lol.
nice compilation bud, I picked up a 94 Cobra black with saddle tweed interior in great condition about a month ago and love it. So far I've added trick flow 170s and an e303 cam and she's a blast to drive! Now if I can just get my hands on some sn95 export taillights lol
You can find a decent deal out there for around $6,000 to $8,000 ...or find a cheaper GT model for $3,000 to $5,000 and just fix it up like a Cobra, lol. Just work hard and save, save, save that $$$, and you will have one man, lol.
Just saw a black 1998 SVT Cobra on Facebook (in Kentucky) with 104,000 miles and $5,500 OBO. I think that is a good deal IMO. Even has 4.10 gears already installed too.
Sn95's are some really sexy cars, just look at those body lines,my brother has two sn95's a base model v6 and a 95' 5.0 on some cobra r wheels but he has a set of staggered fr500 wheels with 335's for the back set,my dream is to get a sn95 and drop a coyote engine in it that would be sweet!
The guy says he didn't know when he bought the car he was getting the old engine. I have never bought a car without looking at the engine. Have you? Especially when it is such a different engine. I can't believe that.
the sn95 is a fantastic car. but i must say im bias for the 99 over the sn95 since it was the first mustang every made with Independent Rear Suspension. but i would still take a boss 302 any day. most people wouldnt expect a solid axle car to be able to handle very well but i smoked a wrx up pikes peak
+Patrick Simmons Your are correct, Ford insiders back in the day referred to them as the Fox4 model. Ford started 4-digit codes with this chassis "SN95" which is still a Fox-body platform.... just as the SN95/New-Edge 1999-2004 models which were still a SN95 with new body panels. Then 2005 was S197 chassis which was far superior to the very old outdated "Fox" platform that started in 1978 (Fairmont and Zephyr) and 1979 for the Mustang. The latest chassis is the S550 model (2015) ...so anyway, you can refer to these as the Fox4 or SN95 chassis, either way.
The 305hp DOHC motors in the 96-98 SVT Cobra sound way better than the SOHC motors in the GT, but you can install an off road X-pipe with some good flowing mufflers and get a wicked sound too.
Actually your 2008 GT 3-valve makes just a little more HP than the 1996-98 Cobra 4-valve, but the SN95 chassis is a little lighter so performance should be very similar.... as well as potential is similar with modifications. I guess it all comes down to which style ya like best, lol. The S197 has better braking, handling and suspension geometry over the SN95 too. One reason why I like the 1999, 2001 & 2003-04 SVT Cobra models is their IRS suspension... and thankfully the 2015 Mustang comes standard IRS equipped. I feel sorry for Porsche, BMW and Aston Martin in the Conti-Challenge, lol. The Mustang teams have such a better base to start with now. I predict Mustang will clean house in Conti-Challenge and World Challenge in 2015. Can't wait to see them hit the tracks! ...but back to the SN95 models, more and more as they become older and not seen as much, I'm really admiring the body lines. If you really go around and inspect the car' flow, it is a sharp looking car, "especially" when lowered down with an aggressive road racing stance and a set of Cobra or Cobra R wheels. They look great!!!
nedaCFilms / Mustang-Town my new drivetrain is from a 2001 svt cobra. i have everything, motor, trans, all wiring harnesses, and instrument cluster, i'm getting everything on it including a/c. it will be sweet, then when money allows next year with come rods/pistons/turbos. i will post a video soon (saying that for 2 yrs) to show you all the parts that just came in for the swap. hopefully i can get it all done by end of august or so. i have been busy with house and another kid on the way soooo........ tough to get it all in this summer.
primalscream46 Oh yeah buddy, I totally understand the "house and kids" thing, lol.... that comes first..... then the toys, cars, personal projects, blah, bla.... blah, lol (and you will be super busy with a fresh little one on the way, congrats on that!!!) .I really love the 2001 SVT Cobra models man, probably my favorite "new-edge" (besides the 2003-04, but everyone drools over them, so......) It's kind of a personal thing for me I guess because when the came out in late 2000, I wanted one soooo bad. The actually brought some respect back to the Mustang after the disappointing 1999 Cobra fiasco. The 2001 Cobra and 2003-04 Mach 1 engines are very similar, and the 2001 motors put out around 280hp to the wheels and ran low-mid 13 second times, just imagine that in a light Foxbody LX Coupe, lol. Nice score. Can you get the IRS setup as well? I guess that all depends on if you are into drag racing or road racing, lol.
Sounds good man..... also I'd like to put together/organize some type of Mustang "Power Cruise" this coming fall (maybe Sept-Oct) or maybe even an "American Iron" cruise with all three American V8-Ponycars, Mustang, Camaro and Challenger. Would be cool to bring together more Ford-Chevy-Dodge enthusiasts. I'm one of those guys that never understood the whole "brand loyalty" B.S, lol, so much great American Muscle to experience to be close minded with one manufacturer, lol. It's all American Iron! Chevy and Dodge are doing some great things too, lol.
Worst sounding car ever. Sounds like justin bieber. Hate that low rpm burble so much. Smoke em too because they have no torque at those Rpms either lmao
S197 is the other one you are thinking of for 2005, which came after the "new edge" platform of 99-04 (some still call theme the Sn95/new-edge) and basically still a Fox-chassis. The S197 in 2005 was a complete redesign and finally leveled the Handling and Braking playing field with the Camaro/Firebird F-bodies.
Crazy. 260 at the wheels. Now days kids laugh at that and we had plenty of fun with em and did burn outs so easy. Kids now days can't make 420 hp smoke em down

My 3rd car which was my very first muscle car is a 1994 sn95 gt with a 5 speed, 3.73`s and the famous clutch that made you have a very strong left leg lol...sitting in my driveway with a broken control arm and plan on getting rid of it due to rust and get a sorted rust free 1994-1995 gt with a tan interior, will be doing a hydraulic clutch conversion on the next sn95 5.0 I buy which I plan on keeping for a long time (my knee is pretty bad from childhood injuries and a hydraulic clutch like the one my audi would help a lot)
Some great looking mustangs.
Love this video!!!100% I have a 94 cobra and this video shows me alot about sn95😎👽☠
Thanks Jose. The SN95 Cobras have a very special place in my heart. Thanks for the support!
One of those body styles that looks like its going 100mph standing still. I love my 98' GT
Exactly i love my 98 gt too pacific green what color is yours bro
I'm hoping to become a SN-95 owner soon! Looking at a 94 Cobra with supercharger. Love these cars!
And i got it! haha
@@jamisgood21 congrats dude!!!
@@nedaCFilms Thanks man! She's a monster. Fun as hell. I originally wanted a Terminator, but coulnd't pass up a super low mile, clean 94! Probably see even less of the SN95 Cobras than Terminators.
@@jamisgood21 I love terminators and all but I just love the 94-98 mustangs! Especially the cobras! Check out my brothers 95 GTS on my channel, it’s got a trick flow top end kit and Vortech supercharger
@@nedaCFilmsLOL I HAVE A VIBRANT RED 93 COBRA AND MY 87 MUSTANG GT AND I HAD A BLACK 97 COBRA THAT I BOUGHT NEW OFF THE LOT AND HONESTLY THE 97 COBRA WAS THE WORST INVESTMENT IN A CAR LOL MY 5.0 MUSTANGS WITH THE GOOD OLD PUSH ROD MOTORS TOOK A LOT OF BEATINGS AND JUST CAME FOR MORE AND MY 97 COBRA WITH 2 THOUSAND ORIGINAL MILES AND I MISSED ONE SHIFT AND THE GARBAGE 4.6 EXPLODED LOL 4.6 WAS JUNK UNTIL THE 03 04 COBRAS CAME OUT AND THAT VERSION OF THE 4.6 CAN HANDLE A LOT OF POWER AND TQ LOL BUT THE 4.6 BEFORE THE 03 04 COBRAS LOL YOU CAN KEEP IT AND I WILL TAKE THE 5.0 MOTORS.
I agree!! It's more about the fact that I'm attached to the car itself. So I want a Cobra in the future but.. I plan on keeping the 08 too.
My little 97.. all 330 NA RWHP is the most fun you can have in a car. I can buy any mustang I want and I wouldn’t chose anything over her
Ah yes bud, 300+hp in a Foxbody or SN95 model is a blast!
@@nedaCFilms oh ya man I catch a lot of people by surprise to. Have some weight reduction to. She moves
I love sn95 cars. They are far stiffer then a fox body and they look modern. Plus the size is just right. S197s are alot bigger
It's way slower compared to my f body , but the low end torque off the line
gives it quite a jump.
You know that's right
nice compilation bud, I picked up a 94 Cobra black with saddle tweed interior in great condition about a month ago and love it. So far I've added trick flow 170s and an e303 cam and she's a blast to drive! Now if I can just get my hands on some sn95 export taillights lol
Quality driver Foxbody prices are jumping higher and the SN95's will be next to start bringing bigger money.
I have the 97 rio red. love it
Makes me appreciate my 96 tht much.more
This was 9 years ago .. I don't even have my mustang anymore. Sold it like a dumbass 😞
I was really digging that green one.
love the fucking sn95's!! got me a 97 gt. badass but overlooked by alot of peeps.
As time passes the SN95 models will be much more appreciated.
nedaCFilms / Mustang-Town yeah i agree
Love the SN95 Mustangs!
SWEET!!!!
Thanks for the video!! I still hope to get an SN95 Cobra one day!!
@@nedaCFilms I bought one last year triple black tons of mods for 3200$ n I love it soooooo much! 5 speed killer exaust.
120 thousand miles on it
I got a triple black 98 gt lowered, crazy exhaust to many mods ta list n I love it soooooooo much.bad azz fuck Ineed this car in mymlife.
***** yes if you really get up close and admire the body lines, it really is a sexy car.... especially lowered down with the right wheel/tire setup.
nedaCFilms / Mustang-Town That's exactly what they need to look good.
my t -top 85 GT with 289 heads 5 - speed laters my 97 GT conv 5 - speed, but not in the corners 17in vs 15in . GO MUSTANG
got a green convertible one with 70k miles for 6k
What can I do to make my 94 sound like these? I love it!
Try some headers, an off road X-pipe and Flowmaster cat-back.
The guy says he didn't know when he bought the car he was getting the old engine. I have never bought a car without looking at the engine. Have you? Especially when it is such a different engine. I can't believe that.
Nice video. I have a 94 gt with a vortech v2, trickflow 170's, tko 500, water/meth, suspension work yada yada yada.
Good job...
Meth suspension?
@@scottyz1982 Note the comma between meth, and suspension. 👍
Nice cars
love my 94
What a mustang should look, An sound like
my comes coyotes lions Mustangs but the sn 95 gt mustang will be my favorite of all times
What is it about SN95s I sell one and get another, I have had 3 now, all 95s , my current one is a teal GTS and I love it.
Men i miss those cars
How much do the sn95 gts go for now? I haven't thought about them in years. There kinda growing on me now. lol
i hated sn's until i owned 2 of them lol
what is the name of the song accompanying the wonderful SN 95
the sn95 is a fantastic car. but i must say im bias for the 99 over the sn95 since it was the first mustang every made with Independent Rear Suspension. but i would still take a boss 302 any day. most people wouldnt expect a solid axle car to be able to handle very well but i smoked a wrx up pikes peak
do one on 3 valves now
man them guys were great drivers ida prolly shit myself n crashed...
Cual es mejor el GT o el cobra saludos
green one at 5:53 HOT
I thought these Stangs were what were called the Fox4. Can somebody clarify for me Thanks...
The latest chassis is the S550 model (2015) ...so anyway, you can refer to these as the Fox4 or SN95 chassis, either way.
nedaCFilms / Mustang-Town Thanks for the info bro!
I have a mustang GT. 96 V8. 4.6.. IT doesn't sound like none of these..
The 305hp DOHC motors in the 96-98 SVT Cobra sound way better than the SOHC motors in the GT, but you can install an off road X-pipe with some good flowing mufflers and get a wicked sound too.
whats the song playing called?
Whats the color name of the bluish green metallic looking color?
I wish I seen foxbodys everywhere
Here's a few aggressive Foxbodies for ya man. ruclips.net/video/BJfg14TCIJg/видео.html
I could get one now, but I'm not willing to sell my 2008 GT.
Ahh, got ya... personally I'd really like to find a 2001 SVT Cobra, or a 1996-98.
Are the SN95 cobras pretty fast?
there pretty quick low 14's high 13's stock. im sure with some light mods you could get into the low 13s.
No
Throw 4.30 gears on a cobra and it’s a quick car
"I see Foxbodys everywhere" lol not anymore
Yeah this was filmed 10-15 years ago. How times have changed lol.
I'll never sell my 94

This is in Maryland?
Pedro Matias The track footage was shot in West Virginia (Summit Point Motorsports Park) and the street footage was shot in Virginia...
We should link up man, I'm out here in MD off 50 in Bowie. Need to head out there but I want to cruise with a few 'Stangs. I have an 01 GT
Chevy and Dodge are doing some great things too, lol.
please check out my sn95 gts with s281 saleen swap and comment!!
One of the worst body styles made. Everyone said it doesnt look like a mustang.
@@pmd7771969 personal opinions, “everyone” has them…
Worst sounding car ever. Sounds like justin bieber. Hate that low rpm burble so much. Smoke em too because they have no torque at those Rpms either lmao
lol sounds better than your fart can Honda
Love the way they sound but 94-98 05-09 were ugly ass cars🤮
my favorite mustang styles are the original eleanor in green, sn95, 2005 dunno what the number code or whatever is called.
I love any V8-Ponycar in dark green..... and white. Black and grey is cool too.
