Gut-retching; so SAD... THIS is what t.v. shows use to be like YEARS ago; acting in it's BEST with heartfelt pride and profound veneration to the viewers... God rest your soul Mr.Lord, all of us that grew up with Hawaii Five-O greatly miss you and your heartfelt and steadfast performance that you dilengently put forth in EVERY episode. I wish Hollywood would glean from your knowledge and expertise and start producing great and quality shows like this again. Thank you Mr. Lord for gracing our lives and providing us with GREAT, quality entertainment... May your wonderful and talented soul forever rest in eternal peace in God's eternal kingdom. We miss and love you so much. All of us will never forget you...and everything you have given us. God bless.
Well said. Lord was a taskmaster it’s been told, but all that extra detail to quality paid dividends not only for the show but for the entire state of Hawaii and for future generations of shows (Magnum, P.I., etc), including the widely successful reboot.
Grew up on this great show among others, mannix, combat, kojak, cannon etc haven't watch TV in many years except for oldies clue me in what's wrong with today's TV other then being woke?
All McGarrett wanted to do was express his appreciationn for her help in getting him back to his usual self. Nurse Lavallo appears to be falling for McGarrett.
Mrs c trying to score with mcgarrett after she saves his life very sad scene but steve is lucky to be thankful he had a angel with him that day Aloha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's not about being interested but men back then like steve knew never invade a woman's space men back then didn't go for that woke the genders are equal nonsense equal pay notwithstanding standing.
This is the only story from that show that I could never forget. I was a tween at the time. I was heartbroken for her. If I remember correctly, McGarret fell for her also. His true character would have been able to track her down and done so for sure!!!

When we had receivers to hang up
I THINK SHE SHOULD OF INTRODUCED HERSELF ! THEY COULD OF BEEN HAPPY. TOGETHER !
Nurse is Mrs. C from Happy Days!
a touching episode from my favorite TV show of all time
I loved it ! Great performance !
Adding a further comment.......yes McGarrett could have tracked her down, but I think he believed she did not want to be pursued,
Because women were a mystery to men and men knew better not this were equal woke bulls... in 2023.
He could've done some investigating & found her if he really was interested.

Excellent episode, as I recall. Also really liked Marion Ross in one of my favorite 5-0 episodes, Air Cargo - Dial For Murder.
