I can’t think of any song he has performed solo that made me think he needed anything more. No disrespect to the great musicians in his bands, just a testament to his songs and guitar playing!

Utter genius. Was a Desert Island disc of mine after the very first hearing in 1991.

Yeah me too. Great song, so well sung. But rarely do I find I like his other stuff. I got to get off the Desert Island after playing this 10 times. Good luck But I'm really saying Goodbye.

65 people! OMG. and I see he did Turning Of The Tide. I saw him six times at the Carriage House shows at Villa Montalvo in 2011-12 and ALWAYS put in the hat for that one.
I love this song. I knew her.
wow the fade here is BRILLIANT!!!!

So cool. It sounds like two guitars instead of just one.

saw him live last week; solo acoustic; he played a bassline, rhythm and lead all at the same time - close your eyes and there are three guys going!

His best performances of this great song. (Old schoolmarm here cringes at "so unique" but I can forgive RT almost anything!)

These 65 people or robots really misunderstood and were not appreciative enough. Not a toe was tapping or a heart grew heavy over this powerful song. They even knew they'd be on film.

I can tell you that no one in that room will ever forgot Richard's performance that night. There were people who had seen him play many many times before and told us this was the most intimate, moving and profound experience they had ever had listening to him. His performance that night is still talked about to this day.
