- Here are the top 7 Instagram settings you should change right now to improve your experience on Instagram.
Turn on two-factor authentication
Make sure to keep your Instagram account as secure as possible.
Removed any authorized apps and websites you don't recognize.
Change your account type if you are trying to grow on Instagram. If you don't have a private account and want more followers, make sure you change to a creator or business account. You'll get access to analytics and more tools to help you grow faster.
Restricts accounts that you don't want to see. It will make going on Instagram a lot more enjoyable.
Turn off notifications to live videos
Update Messenger - This gives you access to the new Instagram Messenger with a lot of new controls
(You can't undo this. So watch my other video on this update before updating it on your app)
Turn on Save to camera roll in Story settings. This way, every time you post on a story, you'll get that post directly saved to your camera.
Use Less Cellular Data - turn it on

Instagram account doesn't show reels option
I personally just started using IG for the stories to share especially to FB for my biz platform so I’ve just been trying things out but I have committed now to doing at least one training a day that is for IG. I appreciate your approach. I don’t subscribe to many channels bc well most are annoying to me and do not have good content but I like your style and ALL the info. I loved the reminder of the 2 auth-factor is so important. And I don’t currently have any apps or websites that have permission but I will be checking in on that. Can’t wait to keep watching your videos. I appreciate you!! I could also send my parents to your channel for info instead of me trying to explain certain things lol. Keep doing You!!

The most useful ever out of all settings is appearing offline i am so sick and tired of constantly being bothered by messenger TAP 3 BARS AT TOP in settings TAP MESSAGES AND STORY REPLIES then TAP ACTIVITY STATUS then tap it off 😂 besides turn off notifications Best ever

It would help if you told us what version of iPhone, you're using My settings page on my iPhone 12 is totally different from the one you're using in this video. Also, you didn't mention a two-factor authentication cost money, you have to get an App.
Found that if you have multiple accounts you have to change things in each account as it's not a blanket change.

I followed your instructions and is in settings. I'm guessing that i am on private, because what i see on the end page is 1) switch to professional account and 2) add new professional account. I don't see business or creat business. How can i tell if i'm in private?
Under settings, there is an option that says privacy. Click that and there is an option called private on top. You can see there if your account is private or public

Business account won’t let you search for music. I have to switch back and forth to personal and business. I can’t boost my posts on personal. So it’s a pain but I have to go back n forth.

Yea professional or business account gives your similar options as creator.
I had mine on Biz account, I have very few followers, learning more now about IG but I was able to switch to Creator? I just have no idea which is more beneficial for me? But wasn’t alerted that I had to have 10,000 followers to activated Creator.
