The first time I saw them they opened with this song. Everyone always told me they were loud I had not heard the live version of this song so when J. started doing his little strum thing he does in the beginning of it I was like "oh this won't be that loud" and then he switched on his pedal lmao. Loudest show I've ever been to amazing live band.
Look at that road weary Marshall 4X12 cabinet in the middle, upper row. How long has it served at the upper limits of its capability. Cranked, night after night since what? 1997? What a piece of music history.
Lou never originally played on this song (since J kicked him out because of some ego shit in 1989) so I am guessing this is why he was left out, even though his bass playing kicks the shit out of... whoever that one guy is.

Dawson Nichols dude same and it brings tears of joy every time i think about it, it was literally the greatest moment of my life
And bass & drum come in the same time. So...It will be crazy !
I saw them for the first time in 1994 and my ears were ringing for two days.
Exactly you’re like “oh this isn’t so bad” then as soon as it comes in your ears are gone 😂
Seriously, in the top 2 loudest bands I've ever seen. The other was Mogwai.
There's loud.... then there's Dinosaur Jr loud.
Absolutely brilliant. Hope they come back to the UK soon.
The master shredder! Such great people/ talent

J. Is just amazing. Would love to see them live someday. Thanks for posting!

No shots of Lou? Sad.

It's his sig with a few mods. Kinman noiseless pickups, Mastery bridge
Ed It's a Squire neck. Even stock it's a superb guitar.
