Since the 2020 version came out this phone has definitely offered less and less over the last 2 years. The 2020 version had a 1080p screen, stereo speakers, Snapdragon 665 chipset and lots of great features. Personally, as a former user of the 2020 version I would recommend anybody considering this phone skipping the 2021 and the 2022 version and purchase the 2020 version. Trust me, the cost of it has probably come down on Amazon for the factory unlocked version and it's probably a better value for your money.
This phone, like the 2021 model, is garbage. Pure trash. I mean come on, I still have my 2020 G Power and it puts both the 2021 and 2022 models to shame. My 2020 G Power has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, a full HD display at 2300x1080p @397ppi, Adreno 610 GPU, an ultra-wide camera, 4k video recording on the rear with time-lapse and EIS, full HD recording on the front with slow-motion and EIS, and dual stero speakers. What is Motorola doing? Are they purposely trying to kill off their brand? Mediatek processor, are you kidding me? Those processors are trash and slow as a snail. I know because my LG G Stylo 6 had a Mediatek processor in it and the phone was basically so unusable to me I sold it after having it for only one week. And why do they keep putting that Jay Leno chin on their devices? Come on Motorola, this is 2022, get out of the dark ages.

I had a galaxy S8 and I had to upgrade because my screen was all cracked and headphones and the charger kept popping out. I've had this one for a day and I'm pretty satisfied. I don't do anything crazy with my phone so I don't NEED something high end. I noticed a difference in quality but the phone was cheap for Christ sakes, what more could I ask for

I REALLY love that feature on my current Moto G Power (either 2020 or 2019?). I've stuck with Motorola for quite a while now and would really love to continue with one but... The 2022 has a similar design to the 2020 with the back fingerprint scanner, left side cameras, and even the black color. The screen was so good on the 2020 g power 1080 (397ppi) and ever since they went cheap on the display, why?
Honestly, there was no need to review this phone. Everyone already knows this is the second annual downgrade from the superior 2020 version. The G Power brand is done for in the US.
I do get a lot of buffering on RUclips. Which I'm going from a Moto G 5 to this new Moto G power 2022 I would expect a little better movement I never buffered on my old one
I got the AT&T variant at Target for $100. I don't feet it was a bad deal. I still have my Power 2020 and feel for $100 much of what is offered is a value. Plays Call of Duty Mobile well.

Actually, I used to have the 20/20 version and it is superior to the 2021 and the 2022 in every conceivable way. I absolutely loved that phone when I had it but, it didn't have dual SIM card ability which became a problem for me. Thus, I moved into a OnePlus; 8t and I have had no regrets. The 20/20 is a great phone and if not having the latest version of Android is a problem just put a custom ROM on it. The Snapdragon 665 chipset should have no problems running a custom ROM smoothly. That chip set should have actually been classified as a 700 series.
Those geekbench scores aren't very good especially because lasts years g power had a single core score of 306 and a multi core score of 1182 this phone is just a complete downgrade from both the 2020 and the 2021 g power the only real upgrades are the 90hz Display And The Slightly Better 50 Megapixel Camera On The Rear I Own The 64gb 2021 G Power And Its Just Fast And Snappy I Wouldn't Buy This Phone It's A Complete Downgrade
@@alceearsberry4150 yea it does this phone scores the best out of both the 2020 and 2022 model it might seem like the processor is worse than the one in the 2020 g power which had the 665 but actually the 662 is slightly more powerful

This is the worst Moto ever made. It's stripped and glitchy and doesn't allow for contactless payments. No Google pay no Apple pay no virtual contact card pay. Forget it.
Many apps doesn’t work on those Moto g phones, I have Moto g fast, And i get tired to figure out how long in on Facebook and whatspp but nothing even I call Moto centre they Couldn’t help me

Idk what Motorola was thinking using the mediatek Helio 637 chip in this phone. That chip can't even record 1080p video in 60 fps.

720p/90Hz display with a pretty decent chipset given the resolution. Camera system is also pretty decent for the price.
