Merci for taking the time to explain during the step-by-step assembly process. I even appreciated learning the difference about the sides of the washer and to ensure the smooth side is against the enamel.. Your ability to walk me through the assembly process was greatly appreciated.
I saved this video. Thank you Uncle. I'm a widow so what I can't do or pay somebody to do we don't get. And I want our son to still have good memories.
Thank-you so much! This was the best and most clear step by step instructions on how to assemble this grill. Especially regarding which screws, nuts and bolts to use during assembly. I like the fact you actually showed the parts and named them. Other videos weren’t that detailed or specific.
Well done! I like how you talked it through. By doing so, it gave me time to look at things as you were talking things through. No problem with a couple of re-do’s. I felt like I was right there with my uncle, watching and passing him the bolts and washers😀. Big MAHALO’s from Hawaii.
From what I've seen in other assembly videos, the clips that you have UNDER the ash catcher, actually go on top of the ash catcher in order to hold the ash catcher firmly in place. Check the pictures in your manual and enjoy your grill.
Weber will cover your top vent problems under waranty. Webber is sending me a new lid and vent for free. I had the same problems u did. I just sent them a warranty claim and bam done. Weber cistomer service is top notch!
I'm taking my Jumbo Joe back. The issue you have with your lid vent? Well I have it too. Unlike yours, mine came with a real nut that if I finger tight it down then the vent is unable to spin, but if I leave it loose enough for the vent to spin then the nut backs itself off by rotating and using the vent. I have a perfect circle gouged into the enamel of the lid caused by rotating the vent. This thing is a poor design.
@@DaBinChe Other than the issue with the lid it looks like a good solid grill, but the vent will not spin if I finger tighten that nut down. If I had to guess, the radius built into the vent is smaller than the radius of the lid so when the slightest bit of torque on the nut goes straight to the outside edge of the vent and it digs into the lid. The bottom vent however works smoothly and I couldn't be happier with how it performs
Thank you so much, I followed your instructions and was able to built my grill myself. Very happy right now.
😁

Couldn’t have done this without you 😩. Thx!

They don't make'em like they used too rings true here.
