I specifically went to the Q to attend the event, I had even cancelled my trip to Cabo, but, due to circumstances affecting my time there, I never made over to the RTR for various reasons. I so wished I forged through and went a short ways from where I was camped at LP south. I do wish the time of year were for the RTR in Q were held a different month, burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Anyway, hope to make the next one. I loved volunteering at the previous HOWA event held in Pahrump though, some of the best folks you ever want to meet were there.
Thanks so much for this video! I drove into Quartzite on Monday (MLK Day). I couldn’t handle the crowds and my dogs definitely couldn’t handle those crowds! I found free camping and couldn’t even find a spot! I had been trying to get there last year and didn’t get to start Vanlife until February 9th! It is divine because I came looking for a shower and found one in Lake Havasu and free camping! Sad I missed it but not, this lifestyle has grown and is becoming increasingly difficult to do it unless services are provided all over the country similar to RV parks we need Vanlife parks! It is increasing difficult on a limited income as well!
It is a meet up to give people the tools and knowledge to live in their vans, RV etc. Most of us travel and live full time like this. We create friends along our travels and help each other if needed. ( RTR ) Rubber Tramp Rendezvous. Thanks for watching!
@@MikeandLisasExcellentAdventure yes I did see that! Unfortunately by the time I saw it, it was too late for this year. But you can bet I will be there next year!
Ahoy Mike ! Are you stalking that sweet lady? We should buy 3000 acres somewhere and donate it to Bob so we can all camp together once a year? Have you bumped into anyone we know? Maybe see you at Ironwood? I'm a day away from Sierra Vista as I type this. 🙂
I have found making female friends hard to do. If you're from the East. The minute you mention it or they ask, their demeanor changes. Ugh...😮💨 Like, oh forget you. You're too far away to keep a friendship up. I don't or won't travel that far ever. Maybe I should start an East of the Mississippi version. 😊 Also, I'm a conservative sort of person liking a certain person very much hated. Shouldn't matter but...either way, love the desert. Not feeling a part of anything. That's what I hoped most to have happen. Just find solo female friends to convoy home with and invite to land which is my base camp. Solo travel sucks without connections.
Your points well founded. I'm sure that there is much good at RTR. I have been to three. And to one caravan which I left. As did some other woman. I am quiet , an introvert. Women contrary to what is promoted , groups of women are not always so kind to other women.
They're out there. You probably just need to find the ones that think like you do. (Or re-examine why you would support a conman who tried to overturn Democracy.) I hope you find what you're seeking. We all deserve love and friendship.
Thanks for posting! I was there this day too.
oh cool
Sweet spot for the stickers 👌🏽

Cool! Thanks for video.I couldn't make it but wondering what it's like ❤ at RTR!
Thanks for watching
Interesting video, thanks
Thanks for watching
I’d like to be there some day. Would you say it’s worth it?
Depends on how far away you are willing to travel and how powerful your interest is. You can learn alot and make great friends. Some for a lifetime.
Is this for all RVs, fifthwheel, class A etc or just smaller RVs vans campers, etc.?
Anyone who is on the road or even just thinking about it. Everyone is welcome.
I was there at the RTR last year and looks like a larger turnout this time out. Safe travels.
Thank you and thanks for watching
Nice warmer day, too! 🌞
Hello from Puerto Rico friends
Hello. Wow, good to see you!
Hello u2😂 thanx 4 showing me. Been to the park n library too but its been since 12/22
Keep warm!
Love the nomad community but I can't do large crowds like this. I prefer just being out in nature with some close friends and family.
Sounds good. Thanks for watching thou
How long does the RTR LAST? GLAD YOU SHOT THE VIDEO for people to see anyways.

@@MikeandLisasExcellentAdventure Thank you! I'm 64 yr female and seriously considering this. Exciting but also a bit scary for single female.
@@TC-yi3ue There is also a WRTR 3 days before the RTR for women only to teach and learn from each other.
@@MikeandLisasExcellentAdventure yes I did see that! Unfortunately by the time I saw it, it was too late for this year. But you can bet I will be there next year!

We are next to Economic Refugees RV and RV Davy. We will be in Yuma and LA, Las Vegas in February and won't make it.
Are there bathrooms and showers available there?
Bathrooms only as it is only a meeting place for events during the day.
You really need to stop following that woman around 😅😅😅
lol... I do. she's a nut!

Yes, friendship is important
Perhaps there's more to it than where you are from. Time for some thinking about how you are being perceived. Just sayin. 😮

From South Africa as a recluse, not my cup of tea / mug of coffee.
Rather be doing something where the only company is my shadow
Blm got tired of all of the people trashing up the desert
City park will end up same way
