My parents spent many years in Quartzsite AZ from the beginning of the 90s through the 2000s clear into their 80s. Almost 30 years. Not all their winters but many of them. They loved it there! Growing up I thought that they didn't like people, and were very anti-social, but once they started RVing and going to Quartzsite, they made so many friends. They often spent the summers visiting friends up North who had stick & brick homes and only part-time RVd. Therefore, I have decided to buy an RV and start traveling full-time.
Enjoyed the video. Since I ran into Bri in Yuma we went our to California and back then visited many of the places you guys have been visiting. We stopped by Quartzite, spent 3 days in Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and a week in Tucson. At that point I decided that with the virus if we had to hunker down I wanted something bigger that the RV so we headed home a month early. Be safe out that and please keep the videos coming. These videos are a huge relief from the bombardment of bad news!
Sounds like you made the most of your time and visited some great places before being chased home early!! It was a pleasure to meet you in Yuma, glad to hear you made it home safely and are doing well. If I remember correctly, St. George? We considered coming that way, we'll get back to Southern Utah one of these days! Thank you for the kind words and wishes, please stay safe out there 💛
Ah, I remembered wrong then... Darn!! At least I got Utah right 😉 We met someone else in Quartzsite that was from St. George and I got you mixed up, sorry! Hope you're able to get into those mountains soon 👍😊
Nicely done Quartzsite overview. It is a rite of passage for many of us RVers. I’ve not attended for several years but your video is beckoning me back to the quirky event. Safe travels.
It's troubling times right now and the sense of security a home base and community afford you are certainly comforting during times of uncertainty. That said, we are doing surprisingly well given the situation. We got a monthly rate at a full hookups campground where we are comfortable and safe with access to laundry, dog runs, even a pool and hot tub! Also, we ended up in a larger city with ample grocery stores and hospitals, so we have access to supplies and medical care if needed. We hope that everyone is doing well, please stay safe out there 💛
@@EmbracingDetours Glad to learn that you guys are in a safe spot. We ended our trip to Arizona early and returned home last week on Monday and put the trailer into storage a week ago. Now we are hunkered down in our place in Salt Lake City.
Hello, greetings from Sacramento CA! My husband and I really enjoy watching your videos. They have a relaxing effect. Everyone should be watching them, especially now. Also, your "fur people" are so cute! We are looking forward to your next video. Be safe out there and HAPPY TRAILS TO YOU! ❤️🙏
Thank you so much, Gayla - We are grateful to have you along for the adventure!! You don't know how happy it makes us to hear that 1) you enjoy our videos and 2) that they might be helping you get through these strange days. We really appreciate your kind words and wishes, please stay safe out there and we'll see you next week 💛
Thanks for the tour. Was really curious about the possibilities at Quartzsite, and you gave us a good look into what life is like in there. What a pleasant couple! You two rock!
Thank you so much 😊 It's hard to explain Quartzsite, and I'm sure it's different for everyone, but we did our best. Everyone just needs to experience it for themselves!
Thank you so much!! Isn't it amazing what a difference a couple months can make?! Social distancing was NOT being practiced in Quartzsite! Please stay safe out there 💛
I think Quartzsite would be a blast in a group, but on your own not so much. Spent tine south of there in Welton with a group and had a blast. Thanks for sharing. Cheers.
We have never been to the Quartzsite RV Show and I think I'm going to plan it in the future. I love those type of shows and enjoy looking at the products.
Every RVer should go to Quartzsite at least once! Outside of the big tent in a little different area there were rows and rows of vendors set up selling any and everything you could imagine. You'd be in heaven 👍
We are doing surprising well, given the circumstances. We found a private campground and will stay here however long is necessary. Doing our part to flatten the curve 👍 Thanks for the well wishes, please stay safe out there!
Thank you, Don! We have the best dogs... I'm sure everyone thinks that about their dogs but we really do 😄 We are happy to be a source of distraction and entertainment, thank you for watching! Please stay safe out there 💛
Great video. This is so interesting to see quartsite. I have seen many videos on this place but yours was the best. Love your Pets. Nice looking airstream.
