I purchased the headliner and 2 new visors from CJ Pony Parts, same color and manufacturer as on the video, for a 1990 Mustang LX Hatchback. I viewed the video 5 times before installing. Everything came apart OK but the new headliner took WAY longer to install than what was implied from the video. We had to install it in reverse from the video, namely the dome light then the visors then the visor inside clips. Also had to hack off quite a bit of plastic because the holes on the headliner didn't line up with the screw holes on the visor mounts (all 4 of them). What should have been a 2 hr project took about 4 1/2 hrs. The result looks the same as what was shown on the video, just with a lot more work and several extra tools. I recommend the video be remade or else add an addendum explaining how to properly line up the holes on the visor clips......walk the person through it instead of just brushing over. "The devil is in the details".
OMG! I had such a hell of time removing them metal trim pieces (off my ‘81 Mercury Cougar XR7). You guys made it look so easy! LOL! I guess mine were just plain stubborn!😂
Do you know what size and type of screw you need becauce my 87 foxbody was missing a lot of screws and was wondering what the size and type was so I can put them on
Umm it was nice to see the uninstall and putting it back, but the most important part you never showed! Why is that? You didn't show how to attach the fabric to the headliner panel. I sew so it was a no brainer on the cutting the x parts, but I wish you would have showed how you glue the headliner to the board because that's what I needed to see. I have pulled interiors apart and honestly that part is easy to figure out (well for me it is). If you do another video you should show how you attach the headliner cloth to the headliner hardware (board). JMO

Ed Housey Good to know. I just bought the sunroof headliner.
Did you spray anything to help it stick?

After removing it was sticky on top. Do you need to spray something on the roof to help adhere the new headliner
It’s formed for the roof so as long as you have all the other pieces in place it will be fine
Yeah. Looks easy but i know it's not . i'm gonna have to do this on mine but mine has the factory sunroof in it. And new sunvisors.
I know it's kinda randomly asking but does anybody know a good site to stream newly released series online?
@Nicolas Korbyn I watch on FlixZone. You can find it by googling =)
Is there any video on how do a 92 LX Hatchback 2.3 headliner? I've looked and looked and can't find it.
2.3 and 5.0 hatchbacks are the same when it comes to headliners. This video is being done on a hatchback 5.0.
@@dc007fan ah okay, thank you. 🙂
No problem! Glad to help.
Links don’t work in the description

Little late on seeing your comment, but it comes attached to the backer board.
