I've watched A LOT of minimalist packing videos and yours are, hands down, my favorite!! You have such a pleasant and cheerful demeanor, and the quality of your videos is top notch. I literally watch your packing videos whenever I need to relax. So comforting! Thank you!
I really love watching this type of videos! They’re so inspiring and give me ideas to pack light. I usually travel to visit my family for 3 weeks or less and I always travel with a carry on suitcase and a backpack 👌🏻
I was freaking out because my carry on is SO SMALL and I have some bulky clothing to pack for a week, so seeing that it is more than possible gives me so much relief. Thank you!
I have watched so many of your packing videos and you inspire me so much with it. I try to get better at packing! I always pack so much for a 7 day trip, but I want to get much better.
Interesting take on not using packing cubes. I like what you did. I just got back from a one week trip and used carry-on for the first time. Got to say the one thing I would change is carrying the TSA toiletries bag in your carry-on. Having to deal with taking so much stuff out to put in trays, there is now way I would want to have to open my carry-on to pull out that clear bag. I kept mine in my backpack. So much easier.
Oddly the last time I flew (last November), TSA didn’t ask us to take out our liquids. But I also noticed they got new scanners, bins and conveyor belts. May no longer be a thing? :)
I’ve always packed a carry-on only when traveling so I wouldn’t have to pay a bunch of extra fees. I did an 11 day trip to Disney World and only brought a carry-on. Thankfully it was in June where it’s hot and humid so packing shorts and tank tops were easy and didn’t take up much room! I even brought 4 pairs of ears and 3 pairs of shoes. Definitely a puzzle. 😂 It helps packing a carry-on because I’m less likely to buy merchandise that I don’t really need. It saves money for me every time! I’m finally building a capsule wardrobe and I love it. 🥰
Thank you for yet another carry-on video. 😁❤️☀️ These are some of my favorite content. Ongoing goal to pack only carry-on luggage...even when travelling by car! 😁
I love minimalist packing also. So freeing! I just packed carry on only for 3 weeks in Mexico… including snorkel gear! I did have access to a washer. Have you tried shampoo and conditioner bars yet? I love Basin.
Hi :) that's cool inspiring :) I have been expat in Mexico, 9 months :) so I brought more but I love the concept for one month travel :) and I definitely even daily use shampoo bar :) my bathroom breaths since too :) just a soap and shampoo bar and there is even some bar that can do both of it ;) you inspire me for my next travel :) thanks from France ;)
Great advice. My longest carry-on only trip was 28 days! Three countries with three different climates. Access to doing laundry was a must. I love compression packing cubes, especially for those bulkier items like sweaters. Just curious about your liquids. You've packed them deep into your suitcase and free floating in your purse. Are you assuming you'll have TSA pre-check?
I haven’t been asked to take my liquids bag out when traveling in the past 7 or 8 years. Back in the day, I used to put them in my carry-on, but since I never got asked to take them out, I’ve just started putting them wherever they fit best.
@@AshlynneEaton I tried twice not taking out my liquids bag, and once in the TSA pre-check. All three times I was asked to take them out and place in the grey bin. So they are usually in my personal item and ready to get pulled out going thru security.
I hope you have or had a great trip! I will admit, it was easier traveling when I was skinny vs fat as clothes size makes a difference. Lol. You did a great job packing.
I had a small travel razor in the case. But lately I find that taking my regular razor and clipping a large bulldog clip over the end with the blade, tends to take up even less room than the round plastic case.
Hi :) I love all your clothes and your concept of minimal luggage :) I love your brown shirt with buttons :) so cute :) I like to put my things by categories in bags too, shoes, underwear, cables....;) I love the ending of the video too, the glance of travel places, it is very an artistic approach :) thank you for your inspiring video :)
It’s easier to pack like this if there’s easy access to the washer and dryer. We’re a family of 4 and did 5 days in Las Vegas. We took two large luggage bc we had to have clothes for each day since there was no washer and dryer and we also packed snacks for the room to save money. Love the video for short weekend trips, but it’s hard to do this when you have small kids and no laundry in the hotel or if they do it’s like $3 per piece of clothing to be washed 🥴
And keeping all your liquids, gels, pastes in one see through quart bag with easy access to pull out when going through security. Essentials are something to read, water bottle, and Earplanes.
I love your packing videos but I’d freak out placing all my clothing so near the zippers in your suitcase. What if they get caught in them? I’d either line the clothes with washbags/laundry bags or something similar, or I’d tuck covered shoes or other pouches in there to protect them. Hope you had a great trip!
I hope you enjoyed your stay in Nashville, Ashlynne! The weather can definitely fluctuate a bit here as I've lived in the area for most of my life, but it looks like you brought enough options. What were your favorite restaurants that you went to during your stay? :)
Very interesting I sort of pack the same way. The only thing I do different, is I want my backpack to be secure from thieves. Traveling seems to bring out the pickpocket type people, and I don’t want that to happen, so I’ve chosen a backpack that only opens, when I take it off my back, and open it up from the inside of my back if you understand that? It’s too easy to open the type of backpack you have, when jostled around on an airline or bus for people to take things out of it in my opinion.
This is so similar to how I just packed for a week trip to visit family! I tried so hard to fit it all in backpack but I couldn’t lol do you ever use packing cubes?
Love this! I always tend to pack too much on trips and regret it later but I love your organized system of packing. What conference did you go to in Nashville?
You can bring a regular plastic razor. You can't bring anything with open removable blades like a metal safety razor or a straight blade. And no loose single razor blades.
You're very lovely to watch. Though I need to ask What bag do you usually bring for travels? Have you tried using a duffle bag for your travel? I recommend using the Bento Bag from Nomad Lane.
Going to travel for 6days just packing 4 shirts 2 pants 5 underwear 4 socks and a toothbrush with travel size toothpaste. I need the rest of the room for souvenirs.. 😅
Some of your makeup would be a liquid tho. Same for the hand sanitizer. I thought all liquid had to be in a clear quart size bag for carry on. I haven't flown much so I'm just confused. I'm going on trip in a week and a half and don't know what I'm doing.
In the US they let you through with a small hand cream and hand sanitizer separate from the liquids bag. And lip cream. And sometimes a tiny perfume. And eye drops. I have carried so many tinier liquids in my personal bag haha.
What are your all-time favorite travel essentials? 🌱
Bunch of photos of my dog that I can't usually take with me. and a water bottle
Sunglasses and sunprotection spf 50!!
Packing cubes, makes finding things so much easier and being organised.
Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner.
Snacks

Checking on the weather is a must.. mix and match is 👍.. using of vacuum sealed plastic is additional trick
Definitely one of the best channels to watch packing videos! Very simple, clean and realistic. Thank you for the wonderful uploads!

This is the best capsule wardrobe!
I will definitely be referring back to this video when I pack for my Europe trip in 2 weeks. I will be going for 10 days!
You post these videos always before I go on trips! Usually the dates are pretty close, i’m going for 6 days next week to Sydney Australia :)
I am leaving for 9 days in Italy in 10 days and I am packing the week due to work schedule and am taking this as inspiration
I always check the weather. And then bring separates and the basics.
Ive travelled a lot, and I’m a lot older than you, but I learned some good tips from your video. Thanks.
This is perfect timing, I'm packing today for a 10 day trip in a carry on! 😄 This will be super helpful!
Same 😃

You put it well...packing is a puzzle, sometime like an easy kid's one, sometimes like a 1,000 pieces complex design one. 😁
eé
Love all your videos. I love to use packing cubes for my trips, I like to keep my suitcase very organized as well.
Such a great video!!! I appreciate the simple approach you take! ♥️
I'm glad I found this! I never used a carry on only for a long vacation and I hate checking luggage....thanks!
love the way you pack. thanks for sharing
This is the best packing video that you have.
Packing cubes are a must!
I always pack far too much and get cross with myself! Thanks for sharing such useful tips and I hope you had a super trip😊
Love these pack with me videos! Very calming, thank you!
I went carry on in my world trip 2017. every climate from SEA to Antarctica. Best decision!!! 🙌🏻
I like the Aveeno, CeraVe, and VaniCream cleansing bars. They work well even in hard water.
Thank you for yet another carry-on video. 😁❤️☀️ These are some of my favorite content. Ongoing goal to pack only carry-on luggage...even when travelling by car! 😁
Those cloth bags are so versatile! 😁

Impressive! 😁☀️❤️ Yes to those shampoo/conditioner bars...genius!
Why bother to pack this kind of thing? You can get it locally.
this is perfect ! im actually going on a week long trip soon !
Perfect! I’m about to travel for 1 week in a carry-on so this is helpful. 💖
That's how I organize my dressers for my kids and I 💕
Great video and helping me a lot. 😊
Here in the UK most airlines don’t have such generous carry on sizes :( and you can only take 1 bag

love the simple, earthy style. your link to the sunset sweater broke... do you have the brand it is from?

Your purse is so cute♡ I’m going for a short trip next month so this was so helpful!

You’re the most organized packer ever! Did your two necklaces tangle packed this way?

Once your suitcase is packed... how heavy is it?
Very neat and to the point. Great ideas. Thanks
Love your way of packing thanks for sharing. Where did you get your makeup bag from?
This was absolutely useful. Thank you so much
Welcome back and my birthday was last Wednesday! Happy weekend, Ashlynne!❤️🎊
Thank you so much Ervin! I hope you had an amazing birthday!
You’re welcome, Ashlynne!
I keep rewatching it🥰🤣

Wow loved this

I'm all about protecting clothes and shoes. I've got a stack of Target bags I'll use for anything and everything 😂❤
“TᕼE ᒪᗩᗪY Oᖴ ᕼEᗩᐯEᑎ TᖇᗩIᒪEᖇ”❤️
I have the same folding technique ❤ it works best for me
Perfect timing, although l'll need more clothes because I'm moving to Barcelona tomorrow.
I'm sooo jealous, enjoy on your new journey 🙏.
Oh wow that’s so exciting!! Hope everything goes well with your move! 🤍
Where are your jeans from? They look so nice and good quality!
Hi would really like to see more of your trips whilst you are there, like travle vlogs....

is it ok to traver by plane from europe to usa with nail clippers and tweezers?
Enjoyed this and would love to know what wallet you use as I’m looking for a minimal wallet to use? Thanks
This is so similar to how I just packed for a week trip to visit family! I tried so hard to fit it all in backpack but I couldn’t lol do you ever use packing cubes?
Super nice organized video.
link for the backpack please, been looking for the same backpack since 2 years ago when I watched your videos about packing light.
Love this! I always tend to pack too much on trips and regret it later but I love your organized system of packing.
What conference did you go to in Nashville?
Leaving Monday!! Thanks for the packing inspo :)
Parfait ashlynne ta vidéo le rangement est top 😊😊
Idk if I missed it but do you pack a hair brush or comb? And do you use the body soap at the hotel?
So I actually don’t use either. I just use my fingers to detangle my hair most days. 🙌 And then I’ll actually use my conditioner as soap!
@@AshlynneEaton oh awesome! I love a multi-use product!
Great ideas. Thanks
I'm looking to purchase a new carry on. How do you like yours? Is it worth it? How does it compare with the name brands (Away, Monos, Beis)?
Do you have the large or small sized backpack?
Perfect timing, I'm going on a trip in a month ✈️
Oh that’s awesome!! Where will you be going?
Oooooo where's your little purse from?
Hold up wait a minute...how did you bring a razor? Did TSA not take it from you?
You can bring a regular plastic razor. You can't bring anything with open removable blades like a metal safety razor or a straight blade. And no loose single razor blades.
How much does your carry on suitcase weigh with all that in it?
I went on a 3-week trip last year and I think I even took less than that. This is not critique, just me being proud of myself for needing so little.
The book was too thick, and I felt that the luggage became heavy. If I replaced it with the electronic version, it should be much lighter.
妳真能打包行李🧳,厲害。👍
Wow

My boots and tennis shoes don’t fit never not even that my makeup bag and hair stuff don’t fit neither 😂 I hate it
Hii Ashlynne Eaton from Turkey
Hey!! Thanks so much for watching!!
want to come over and pack for me lol
I read ED as eating disorder and my pressure dropped, fr
Me watching this pretending I will travel
I noticed you didn’t pack any makeup. Is make up girl.
socks and underwear shoved in the same bag 🤢
