Really excited to have my film released by DUST! Creating it was an unreal adventure for everyone involved, we really hope you like it. I'm happy to answer questions you might have regarding the film or how it was made.
Congratulations to Emil, Taneli and Artur Sallinen, to Jonatan Seeskari and to Jonatan Sundström. I thought it was an incredible job of special effects. It is so well done that the characters and their acting blend perfectly with the fictional landscapes and settings. This mix of the future era with its unattainable technology and the most primitive of the human being with its rituals and sacrifices to the gods has been a real success. GoodSpeed Project Teyvat seems to be a kind of key to resistance, which will always arise from humanity's deepest longings and its conception of justice. A resistance in which the viewer dreams of fighting not only for its pillars but for the mirror of good reflected in the pupils of Sara's eyes as opposed to the partial claudication reflected in those of her father. Music and sound effects are great, CGI is out of this world. Might is an unique piece. Thank you very much for sharing.

It’s been a while since my top three “Dust” offerings moved out a top three from my list. This looked like the start of a great novel. SiFi at its finest. Thank you, and good luck growing the story, I’d love to see more.
Can't believe how far cgi has come. Looks like real but it is cgi. Facial expressions, models, animation etc etc cannot be distinguished from real. Kudos to makers
It seems that there is a post-apocalyptic civilization on the earth's surface. the ancients left the earth with that ship from the atmosphere. The terrestrials forgot it, and they believe that this luminous ray must be quenched, and it is evil. The girl belongs to a rebel group, which still believes in that ancient technology. Her father is a soldier of the terrestrials. When the old man intercepts the young woman, when he identifies her he sees that it is his daughter, he takes off his helmet, and she recognizes him. He fights off the guards, but they are both captured.... When the terrestrials are going to assassinate them with the luminous ray, the truth is discovered. The beam is just a conduit for travel to the true ancient earthlings, refugees from the inhuman and decadent society of the earthly surface, inside that ship in the atmosphere.
I am reminded of Dr. McCoy's sentiment about transporter beams, "What a crazy way to travel, spreading a man's molecules all over the universe." The last scene.... hope springs eternal. What a great film, I hope there will be more.
Ok, somebody help me because I'm reading the comments and everyone is praising the people who made this short, well i can't do that cause i have no idea what i just saw, i could go on but what the heck , just go on to another one and hope it'll give some back story or something.
Me too and even though I did read the synopsis, I didn't see any of that in the film. However the whole film was very well made, costumes brilliant, music great, scenes were marvellous, only I just didn't have a clue what was going on.
I remember watching this a long time ago thinking that has a ton of potential but I hated the ending. I didn't know that it was unfinished at the time. This is very well done. I wish it was a full length film. It reminds me of 300 in space.
@@charlestaylor3195 no, all I remember is that the plot was entirely too vague at the time. I believe what improved it this time is that they explained why the guy turned on his people. I'm pretty sure they didn't have her showing him the diagram of the satellite in space last time.

That was brilliant! Very good. I'm not the quickest of cats at the best of times, but I think I got the message. Make it a movie. That's the best compliment I can think of.

This film is based in a future version of earth where people, who has escaped the collapse of our ecosystem into an ark hovering in space, comes back and ruthlessly controls those who were left here using their technology. The story consist of a person - Maryam - who has a hunch that something is wrong, and wants prove the above. During her mission, she runs into her long lost father, and they connect as he realises saving her is more important than serving the high priest. But the price they have to pay for their endeavours is high.

Whenever I want to watch something engaging and stimulating, I turn to "Dust" and here we see another excellent example of top rate content.

You're right, The CGBros has had this film on their channel earlier. The film had its premiere in 2016, but the production began in 2012.
