"Applause, applause, applause" popped into my head yesteday, and it only took about a minute to figure out who said it and where. Annie Potts is always terrific!
So like I got really really high and hung all of those records up and then Molly Ringwald was really really nice to me and she told me to go see the guys at the Ghostbusters ruclips.net/video/tcmppBfc1Lo/видео.html I just glued them all I feel high man. @@80steen44 that’s crazy. I’m Slightly younger and I always think of CDs as starting in the 90s. Was is the big artists using them or obscure labels experimenting? To Me, I always remember buying either cassettes or Vinyl before the 90s Thanks for the info
@@lechanneldemysterieuxmante1807 Led Zeppelin for instance was on cd as early as 1985 and it was a big marketing event when The Beatles were released on cd in 1987. Pretty in Pink is 1986. My teacher in 1984 was telling us about cds being the new thing but it was many years off before they were even somewhat common. I didn't buy my first cd until 1992 so you're not alone there. There's a TV episode of the show Wings where the character of Helen gets a cd player in 1990. The movie the Wedding Singer from 98 is based in 85 and the guy shows his new cd player. Anyway back to my point lol. Even though vinyl was prominent in 86, cds existed. Cassettes too, as you mentioned, were big
Brothers in Arms by Dire Straits was one of the first major albums to be released on CD in 1985. It was also the first album to sell million copies on cd. This film was probably filmed around that time. @@80steen44
I love Iona's outfit in this scene
So do I.
Me, too!
I love every outfit in her scenes🤣
I got told I looked like Annie in Pretty in Pink at an outside venue where the band was playing 70s/80s tunes. Awh, that was awesome. 😊
I loved this scene especially the reason why I learned to load and use a staple gun 😂😂😂 basic weapon for me other than using a fork or a spoon
"Yes,this was my Generation" I told my kids.Fast Times at Ridgemont High,Pretty in Pink, some kind of wonderful and all those other John Hugh's movies.

what song plays at the beginning?
I'm wondering about that too 😑
