Brilliant ,really please that your back great vids ! Was wondering i have a np300 change oil reg am thinking of using liquid molly molygen oil additive to the oil ! You any thoughts on this ? Thanks paul 👍
Nice to see you again! Here in Romania a lot of people delete their dpf and egr,and they have no issues with them,i have the nissan-Renault v9x engine, and i wanted also to delete tge dpf and egr,but now looking at your video ,i am a little concerned
Totally agree.... only thing I think is use a good quality (branded) injector cleaner on a regular basis, also drive gently when cold..
And keep that Adblue tank full...........
Well said pal Totally right Cheers Des
sugggestions?
Good to see your videos
Thank you pal hope to keep you informed on what we see every day and hear from owners around the world, All the best keep in touch Cheers Des
Base model RX single turbo 2015. Dyno tuned 574NM. Remap and straight stainless pipe from turbo back (no DPF)
Not an issue with it over last 4yrs after doing it.
Welcome back mate.
Interesting Video, ive remapped every diesel ive ever had and never had any issues.
Remaps dont damage engines or components if done correctly which correlates with the advice given. I've seen cars without remaps damage bores and pistons through overpressurisation of the injectors.
ECU's can generally be reprogrammed and do not need replaced.
You shouldn't remove DPF's but i do and its fine although harder on more modern cars with ad blue systems and the software involved within them
That was my point in the video when done by the right person for the right reason happy days but when not right you need to take a visit to me for some bad news. I was not slating remapping at all but be sure before you go ahead with it All the best pal many thanks for your input as that is why I do the videos Cheers Des
The ingenium engine defo needs a dpf delete. They actually brake, and a new DPF costs thousands
I have a 2008 stx. Manual it haas an egr system the only things ive added is a Provent 200 catch can German Made. Replaced the intercooler and removed and cleaned the inletmainfold. New Glow plugs. I have installed a throttle control unit plug play type but drive it with the setting in factory mode unless im overtaking which doesnt happen a lot. 😊
I remapped my D22 , 2.5 L , , I received a marginal increase in Torque and fuel economy , BUT I do a oil change every 5000k and oil filter every 10.000k
And I absolutely don’t flog my vehicle,
I did the same with my previous Narvara 3L , and sold it at 345.000 K engine still no drama , when sold ,

Welcome back!! 🇦🇺

Hi Des hope you’re well could you tell me.I drove my Navara D40 about 5 miles I stopped for some fuel when I got back in it wouldn’t start I had a garage look at it they said there was no compression on the cylinders do you know the problem?
Cheers pal Gordon
100% agree with you
Well said mate
Des, would you be available for a quick chat at all this week?, I’ve got a lot of parts I need to buy for my 56 plate aventura but I want to make sure I buy everything I need in one go and I’m not sure which route to go down 👍🏻 cheers mate
Welcome back
Thanks for that mate
My 06 d40 runs fine, but recently the boost reading through torque shows that its not reading boost but runs fine. Any ideas what it would be im stumped the actuator on the turbo seems to work fine too i just cant read any boost its shows 0.69 in vaccum
Dpf or none dpf buddy
I own a 2012 D40 Navara STX550 ( V6 turbo diesel )
It has a catch can, egr blank, straight exhaust and an ECU tune, 50mm lift kit plus more aftermarket add ons.
I've towed my 2 tonne offroad caravan around Australia on some of the worst remote country roads on the planet with no issues.
Last year we towed 25,000km.
I'm a big fan of tuning the ECU for better economy, performance and reliability
I have a D40, and a'm having por economy. I change suction control valve, injector clean and still having the same problem
What about fuel filter buddy
@@westyorkshireengineservice9160 I changed filters
@westyorkshireengineservice the vehicle does get service regularly
My d22 yd25 had a runaway and now its not starting what repairs do i need to make and what parts must i buy
New Fuel injectors oil change clean system and try it from there poss new turbo seals
Thank you, what is the price of a set of injectors
@@ALFAMUSIC2 around £1000.00
@@westyorkshireengineservice9160 thank you very much for your help
With a reputable remap, all is good with zero issues.
DPF and Adblue vehicles are only invented for emission control purposes and offer zero benefits for anyone’s vehicle.
The manufacturer engineers firstly designed their engines for performance and economical purposes and then had to invent and implement emission controls measures and procedures to meet emission laws.
EGR, Adblue and DPF filters are not there for the benefit of anyone’s vehicle (quite the opposite in fact) and if you can get rid of them and map them out the do so. Where I live, in the Isle of Man we have zero speed limits and zero emission laws so we are all good 😁
Mapping a vehicle correctly and removing all these emission controls systems unlocks your vehicle’s potential on how it was intended to be.
My Dad has had nothing nothing but problems with 2016 NP300 EGR valve, and the adblue, dont get me started, its in and out of Nissan with adblue count down problems, its had the new dosing module, new software and other bits but it continues to give nothing but problems. So his vehicle next week is getting the full hit, DPF, EGR and adblue delete and remap - cant wait.
My mate had the exact same thing done to his identical NP300 4 years ago and its a totally different machine, more power, way more torque, better drive, better MPG despite power gains and he has never had any problems since.
Ill be getting mine done the same as soon as it is out of manufacturers warranty 👌🏻
About bloody time😂😂😂
Where have you been for the past year?
Fighting internet bull Sh@t as ever haha
Same question from me ???? 🤗🤗🤗

I’ve been considering a remap, purely for better fuel economy, Nissan np300 with 140k on the block! That’s a definite no no then ??
Never dissapear mate. We need you like a tax refund
Nothing wrong with a good remap/delete, problem is theres to many idiots these days buying cheap remap tools and mess with stuff they dont properly understand
he just got out aa lol
This is such an uneducated video!! No, You don't need a new ECU If the ecu has been previously mapped.. Called a "back to stock" function, ECU Delete? I'm assuming you mean DTC Deletes? There's no way that the snap on scanner can "detect" If that vehicle has been mapped.. Sure yes you could data log the vehicle and compare readings to a stock vehicle.. but the machine wont flag and tell you yes it's been mapped not unless there's a DTC present refering to something a long the lines of chks/eep.. As for the Injectors.. well yes it's possible If you go to someone that isn't reputable .. but You pay for what you get at the end of the day.. If you cheap out, expect situations like this.
